Nother quick minicon idea

regarding the old saying of "Two heads are better than 1" OS said we have several tactics coming. I was thinking, wbhat if we also had a multitasking minicon. While the main bot is doing X tactic, the minicon is also firing off a second gun at the same time
, with different capabilities. Possiblly a kick/shoot, ram/shoot, etc.
Looking something likes rthis maybe:

i don't like this, but's that just cos it's from flashwave. it's actually quite a good idea, and could have some interesting ideas for the fabled concept of "group tactics"
perhaps along the line that Rank could give you a (small) chance that each time you perform a tactic, you trigger every other ally with that tactic to make a tactic attack too.
maybe along the lines of each point giving you a 1/30 chance of sending the trigger factor, and each point your allies has gicves them a 1/30 chance of responding.

would it be better to have the minicon attack during other rounds?
just worried that it might cause to much damage in a turn, and upset the game balance, i'm assuming not everyone will want a minicon, therefore it musn't give to great an advantage.
Secondly, if we have all these minicons/target masters etc. would linking it to the rank stat be good
E.G. rank 2 gives you the option to have a minicon
rank 3 gives you the chance to combine with another bot during the battle?

no, if say you need 3 rank to be a gestalt, and 4 to be a triple changer then being a triple changer needs to be a third better to be balanced, considering how different the two concepts are it would be hard to reconcile them mathmatically to such a linear progression.

yes i'm aware of that i was merely using an example off the top of my head, i'm sure that if the idea was implemented it would be far more well considered, i merely demonstrated the potential for the idea
also i was thinking combiner as in duocon, not gestalt

Duocon... That is only one robot, with two separate vehicle part. I think you meant powerlinking (I hate this word, but the G1 Landcross-parts didn't name the technic.) I think it would need at least 4 Ranks, and the question is that each of the powerlinking robots would need the ranks, or just one?

I think your idea it's quite ok actually. I think if better the RANK's LVL it's higher than 3. Let's say 4 for instants -> we have the option to have a minicon but will help our bot(s) by doing some repair to our bot. On the next lvl (that's 5) -> the minicon will helps and fights during the battle and also with the options to upgrade our minicon's STR, INT, Armor and etc.
But let's say, if the HMW do or make it exist. Will the minicon make our bot(s) gain lesser experiences/energons if it help/fight alongside with our bot(s)?
What i'm saying it's, the minicon kinda gave many advantages for those who have it rather than who dosen't have it. :-? >>

boosting stats for an xp tradeoff is a good idea actually.... may help make the minicons less like the version two equivalent of Battle Blades/Dol.

That was disscussed before Glyph left. The big differnece I see, is there, the minicon might need to be armed. it also means that we'd have twice as many characters to worry about in the programming, and another casualty. This is more like the Demolisher fuigure, the mini can pop the missiles out, so why can't he fire those 2 mi=ssiles why Demolsher is busy dodging Autobots
Regarding too much damage, ask for a Lvl 5 Strsfe record in a battle. Those guys have been known to
(The following is an example. TitanXP has never done so.)TitanXP transorms into an Air Animal and strafes x-con. X-con is damaged 78% remaining. TitanXP strafes X-con. Xcon is damaged, 50%. TitanXP strafes X-con. Xcon is severley damaged, 25%.TitanXP strafes X-con. Xcon went into Stasis Lock!
I suppose another place to look would be one-one one arenas. Also, low level bots would still do low level damage. I doubt it would add up fast enough to set off. Higher levels also have more chances to build armor, and If a Minicon is firing off one of the larger bot's weapons, the target is still going to have it's resistances. (If applicable)
