First things need to be shot down like crazy.
And people forget all the good figures Hasbro already made with the Generations line.

I think this Optimus is going to be, my, best prime so far.
Well, if MP10 was voyager sized then he'd have that crown of course. But I mainly collect the normal Transformers lines.

Yes, because there hasn't been any catering to G1 fans in the past year. (MP Wheeljack, MP Prowl, MP Soundwave, Evasion Optimus, Metroplex, FOC Thundercracker/Skywarp, Springer, Blitzwing, Skids, Jetfire, Hoist/Trainbreaker, Arcee!!!, SDCC Dinobots, etc.)

Well, you do know you really kindo of have to say that don't you?

Don't get me totally wrong, I was tempted to get that Not-Motormaster because I really dig the character. But I've read about quality issues and the price doesn't really shout "toy".

I'm psyched about this Transformers release of Motormaster. I think they did the head way better than Fansproject. Haven't fully eyeballed the limb bots yet.
But I must say, the alt mode of the Fansproject looks better, it has a trailer.

Not much has changed really: The Takara side is for Japan only, while Tomy deals with international releases. That's reflected in the names used: "TakaraTomy" is used within Japan only, while the more recognized "Tomy" used internationally.

In fact, isn't nearly all of the Generations line devoted to catering to G1 fans, with a few scattered nods to other Transformers lines here and there, and those being mostly phased out when Combiner Wars starts? "Generations" is kind of a misleading name, isn't it?
