I just saw on Attack of the Show that appartly in Empire magazine, they state that Megatron turn into a Razor, a new, real-life, never-before-seen, military jet. This was reported and proven false months ago. It was also reported lately by IGN.com that he turns into a stealth bomber. But that's been previously dismissed aswell. I think he was once said to be a tank too, but that was wrong again. Where in contrast, all the concept art and even toys we've have been of a wierd alien jet. So what is it. I'd love it if he turned into one of the other 3, but all the signs I see point the the alien jet.

So which is? Perhaps he starts out as the alien jet and then switches to one of the others? Like Bumblebee changes from an old Camareo to a new one.

Kind of looks like the Swordfish from Cowboy Bebop.

he sees no need to take a disguise as he considers it beanth him to stoop so low as to pretend to be a human vehicle. after he gets blown to smithereens by a human kid, i guess he'll change his mind for teh sequel

Anyway, yes - he should be a camo tank with "Megatron Rules" clearly painted on his chest in neon purple. He might also shoot lasers that look suprisingly like water.

Well, I guess the gun is ruled out (seeing as there has been no sign of starscream) and altho others may like it, I really don't want megatron to be another cheap knockoff of one of those flying death machines from the Terminastor future. ... so maybe they'll have him transform into a giant artillery piece ... yeah.... suck up black holes and atomize planets... and all that other kool stuff. :mrgreen:

No, Starscream is around. There will be no mass shifting, so the gun is ruled out.

I for one think it is refreshing to see Starscream's robot mode so closely resemble a gorilla. If things don't work out for this movie he can always make an apperance as a bad guy in the next Narnia movie.

As much as I dislike the design altogether the more I look at the toy's prototype pics the more I seriously hope it's mistransformed. At least the concept art doesn't have huge hunks of kibble hanging underneath the wings.
