Typical. I planned on changing before the upgrade. But the upgrade kinda jumped me

Seems bit of an odd thing to take out of an updated version of phBB. You woulda thought they'd concentrate on adding features, not taking them away as well... :???:

I believe that feature hasn't been taken out but is disabled by default in PHPbb. Someone just needs to turn it on.

Funny thing to disable. Surely disabling it is more effort than just leaving it functioning?

It is not that easy, it was disabled during the upgrade.
It was not something that he simply turned off.

Well I would like to have my old name from my old (barely used) profile that I can no longer log into cuz the upgrade screwed it up. It's just sitting there taking up space and collecting dust. I wish I could either have it back or just get rid of it all together.
