They really should have done a full SG boxset and had both the red and purple Decepticon insignia stickers. People who want a SG Blitzwing or Flywheels are happy, people who want a show-accurate G1 Astrotrain and don't want to pay a boatload of money are happy.

Wow, I had Blitzwing as a kid and got the KB Astrotrain reissue, so I was looking forward to this set to have both in a more G1/Toon color scheme. I'm really bummed about the colors, I'm still getting it for the figures though.

The price was mentioned on the previous page. The philipines equivalent to 100$, which is insane. I wont be getting this after all.

Well, I definitely agree with those saying Astrotrain is in Movor's colors. There aren't a lot of orange and white space shuttle Transformers. Astrotrain's face in the art looks to be light blue like the Movor figure. If it really is then it's ironic that this is happening at the same time as Takara Tomy's Rollbar/Greejeeber repaint in Adventures.

For Blitzwing I'm not sold on either the SG or Flywheels theory. Maybe if he was more dark maroon and dark gray-brown I could buy the Flywheels idea, but it looks more purple to me. Unlike Astrotrain, Blitzwing's colors are a 1:1 color swap from the original figure so it may not be based on anything at all. Both would look pretty decent with G2 stickers on them.

I'm not overly excited about these figures, but if they do something similar with Perceptor/Blaster and the tapes I'll be all over that set. Hopefully Trypticon will be more like the Insecticons and left alone since this will be a first time reissue for him. The Coneheads 3-pack? Dunno, maybe this?

We already know how the coneheads will look like, they are keeping their original colors:

I really hope they don't pull this stunt with Trypticon. I'd hate to see him in neon yellow with pink polka dots.

Just in case I didnt answer yet, I put my money on you being wrong too. You underestimate how poorly Hasbro's decisions can be sometimes. Like recomending that TRU should charge 100$ for 3 insecticons.

Someone tell the guy behind Knights of Unicron that this is the next thing they need to accomplish.

Heck, have Trypticon turn into a soundstage that compliments that set. Replace the radars with sound monitors, antennae with a drum kit, towers/turrets/missile launchers with laser lights, and ramps with barriers to stop the wanna-be groupies from harassing the fembots.

I just talked myself into this whole idea. Brb gonna go price out Knights of Unicron sets on ebay.

Breaking one of my own rules to be that annoying vocabulary guy and help you out with the correct phrasing of this.

These are often confused homophones when this saying is used:

Peek (verb) - To glimpse.
Peak (noun) - A mountain summit.
Pique (verb) - To arouse, upset, or excite some emotion.

The correct word is that last one, "pique". These pique your interest. Your interest is piqued.

My eternal apologies to everyone for this. Just a pet peeve of mine lately seeing this done wrong on the internet everywhere, nothing personal against this particular post or person that posted it. Back to Transformers.
