As I have said several times, no movie is perfect, and I never said no one should complain. I was merely making an observation that there are more negative threads here than you can shake a stick at, and that's rather disconcerting.

But there I go again, expecting too much from people...

I'm actually suprised (and admittedly, pleased) at this. The movie came out, and people on here were asking each other for Wet-Naps to dry each other's crotches off.
So, I walked away from the site for like 24 hours, and come back to all this far more serious analysis now that the hype's been removed.

I don't find it disconcerting, I'm rather proud of people's new abilities to see past Pepsi bottles, car radio ads, TV ads, movie ads on websites, etc etc.

Sure took me by suprise. :shock:

But there I go again, expecting too much from people...

You could always just have the Vehicons rip out our sparks and merge us into you... to keep order in the world.

I loved the movie, it's fantastic.
Some of you didn't.

Simple as that, can we please just let this die now?

I agree with you whole-heartedly. I never intended it to be a bithfit. I was going for the "glass is half full, not half empty" thing, which obviously turned out to be a miserable failure. Which is why I respectfully ask the mods to close this thread. I don't want to be a contributer to negativity on this or any other forum.

Exactly, I've been a member for less than an hour and I came across 3 billion THIS MOVIE SUCKS threads but none of the people who bitch about it have made a better movie so they really have no room to talk until we see their version of the "perfect" Transformers movie.

People are allowed to bitch about whatever they wat but it isn't justified until they do better.

If I had the money, there would be no way in hell I'd give it to anyone. Besides, I am not the one who's bitching about the movie because I thought it was great. It's the people who think they can do better that need to save their little pennies so they can prove to the world that this version of the movie is actually 100% the worst version ever.

Ok, on that, you're right... kind of.
The movie could DEFINITELY have turned out much, much worse.
Thankfully, instead of being as bad as say, The Garbage Pail Kids was to Garbage Pail Kids trading cards, it was merely "empty" in content where worse things could've gone.
Though some bullets were dodged, it still took a few non-credible punches to the nuts.
Likewise, it's going to hurt every time alot of us think about it.

That last post (The HUGE post!) summed up EVERYTHING I felt after walking out of the theater of the 4th.

You made every point I have tried to make, and I failed. But where I was not heard, and mocked because of my opinion on the movie, you stood your ground, and handed out verbal rebuttals that would have made Aristotle cry.
