I thought I'd throw in on this too.
This is....actually a really good idea. Far be it from me to follow Obi-Wan...er...Skywarp-2 on some damn fool idealistic crusade; but if the company is willing to listen to us in order to craft these things, we should have a go at it.
The price is reasonable, the size is reasonable, and we're entering into an scene in G1 that is iconic. People are willing to buy Quintessons and all other manner of non-transforming, show related merchandise...this should be something that all of those folks are interested in as well.
There are a lot of possibilities as well...
-simply modeling the ships
-showing the decepticon attack and space battle
-modeling the wrecked Arc and sunken Nemesis
Since we have an active audience who is willing to put up or shut up on production of these, let's show some support and at least see what a prototype or two has to offer.
Dead Metal wrote:skywarp-2 wrote:actually that might be a little too involved for a "part time" Production of those models of the ships.. Or it might drive the price up high.. so let's just stick to the actual models being done for now..maybe if these models gather steam, Hasbro will take a second look at spaceships and playsets..or Takara Tomy may decide its high time to do a perfect model of the Ark and Nemesis..and we can get those features..
either way, this is the first step into a great new transformers Frontier..
Thanks For the Support Counterpunch!!!also thanks to Saberspark model H., and Dead Metal
OK, I'm fin with that.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Dead Metal wrote:A G1 Unicron may just stay a dream, cos the Planet splits up to form his chest and his groin.
I would be all for a Cybertron, with them crazy as hell street thingys and craters and a whole line of TF themed models, ships, planets space bases and such on.

But wait a minut, since wen is the planet of Junk like that wasn't it just like a litle chain of mountains and not round?

WELL, technically that was all you saw in the beginning of the landing there.. which is the top section in the picture done by Floro Dery.. the planet itself, was briefly shot and shown in the movie when Unicron is talking to galvatron and tells him of the Matrix existence and Ultra Magnus survival on the planet of Junk..
you see if for a brief second.. the actual part they landed on was the top mountain portion, suspended above the main body of the planet..

Isn't Lithone the planet that gets eaten at the start? Where Arblus and Krannix come from?
