Personally i thought the pit in the earth was going to connect to the pit in reaching the omega point and shockaract
I'm not too fussed what it was now, any form of closure would be nice, the overlord idea is interesting if not a little difficult to try to imagine how it would play out

While I admit that Dreamwave isn't as great as I thought it was when it was first out, it really did look like we were finally gonna get some classic plots, as it actually was getting better. Megatron had come back with the Preds, Shockwave was put in his place, Soundwave spoke, Blitzwing was scrapped(but looked like he was gonna come back with Sixshot), and the Dinobots would have come back the next issue. Scourge's role was never actually reavealed(though he probalby was gonna be a herlad). And let's not forget that Scourge was in the custody of government, along with Devastator and Superion, who were all being rebuilt. It might have been Transformer vs. Transformer, but on a whole new level...
So much potential good stuff was on the way....

Issue #0 of former ongoing:
Ok, I'm assuming it's the government, but in issue #7 we see on a screen that Scourge is under repair when the Autobots are going through E.D.C.'s place, and Marrissa reported to Buster Witwicky in issue #10, who was in a military uniform. Which also reminded me of another plot point(I was thumbing through the issue yesterday), on Buster's computer screen there was a picture of a transformable exoskeleton like some of the European Action Masters had. Easter Egg, or undisclosed plot point?

Duke of Luns wrote:That's Superion's head in the bottom panel. You can see the gold horn on the side of the head, and Devastor's head is laying in a different position in the panel above it.
And after looking at it again, I think it's a cross between the G1 Exosuit and the Action-Master Exosuit:

Leonardo wrote:What's going on in the first two panels of that page? Both robots look like Scourge but they've got different head designs.
tigertracks 24 wrote:The exo-suit is pretty generic looking, without more detail, who knows?
The head at the bottom shares similarities with Superion--red visor-, but I thought he had a mouth shield? Silverbolt to my knowledge did not have a red visor, but blue eyes.
I'm sure it's mean to be one of them.

As you can see, Superion has blue eyes in the first photo, red in the second and a mouth in both. The head as shown in the second picture is the on in the EDC complex

I did not think they were allowed to use the japanese bots yet, that it could have been in the future plans though, so I suppose it could have been him there.
