This is just another trailer that has one purpose and one purpose only: to get people talking.

And it's working.

Anyone remember the animated movie Titan A.E? They had a similar trailer before Star Wars : Ep.I - they had spent a ridiculous amount of cash to get an itty-bitty preview trailer before such a huge movie, only to have the film completely tank.

Pay no attention to the trailer before the Transformers Movie, whatever effort we put into figuring it out now, when we see the movie next year, we'll all think back and be upset over how we wasted our time wondering about it...
