Proving that CN's bigwigs are all a bunch of idiots and instead of making toonami better they decide to give it the big ugly axe. Now adult swim will be handling all the good shows. Not that toonami has had a lot of good shows lately. seriously, Naruto's okay but that's really all toonami's been. They could've aired samurai jack and ben 10 any other day.
I agree. I just hope they don't mess up adult swim.

That wasn't it's only problem. "Prince of Tennis?" "Yu-Gi-Oh GX?" That freak with the blonde afro (Bobobobobo)? Give me a break.

I enjoyed that show thank you very much.

Totally, Bobobo-bobobo-bobo was great.
Gutter Bunny wrote:personally i think if AS doesn't get rid of the live-action crap they are currently airing then they will be next on the cutting block.
Seriously...i would prefer the constant repeats of cowboy bebop/trigun/NGE (or any other anime, actually) over that crap any day

shortround wrote:So what will they be slapping on in it place now that toonami is gone. I was there for the start of toonami and what killed it for me was the stupid ninja in orange track suit naruto thank you for that one cartoon network. Also has anyone notice that adult swim on saturday nights is becoming pretty anima thin as well.

That was Toonami? I had always watched Fox Kids for Beast Wars and Beast Machines. I'm not sure how that works out.
Prince of Tennis....ehh...it's apparently got some popularity, just not my thing. Now Megas XLR...We dig Giant Robots.
Fender Bender wrote:Am I one of the few that actually find Squidbillies funny? Yeah, the animation sucks, but I enjoy it.
I also support removing all live action shows from AS though. I find Tim and Eric annoying and poorly done. To me, they are just SNL rejects.
It would be nice if they re-ran a different anime during the week rather than Inuyasha at 4 am too.
