This isn't really my absolute favorite BW toy, but this one holds special memories for me as it is the very first Maximal that i have owned, and as such, it has earned its right to be among my favorites.

BW Deluxe Fuzors: Torca

How did you get your favourite Beast Wars Toy?

pretty easy, actually. i saw this and 2 other preds (TM Iguanus and basic Powerpinch) on auction at eBay, loose but mint with their card backs secure and complete. i saw that no one was bidding on this set and at the last few minutes, i put in my bid, thank God no one was eyeing them, so i got the set for $10. shipping was another matter altogether ($22).

Rate your Bot: 1 ;)^ is poor and 5 ;)^ is the Best ever!!

1. Likeness to cartoon or Media:

I saw Torca in action while reading IDW's Beast Wars: The Gathering comic book. he was (fairly) accurately represented in a much more dynamic form courtesy of DonFig's pencils, but the bugger is that he was the largest of the Maximals there; the deluxe toy isn't pretty accurate in terms of scale. RATING: four ;)^;)^;)^;)^

2. Posability:

Good, but not great, poseability. this thing is a tight-joint wonder, the ball joints are tightly constructed and looks like they'll be holding strong for a long time. joints are on the following:
shouders: ball joints
elbows: swivel joints for horizontal and vertical movement
hands: ball joints
pelvis: ball joints
knees: standard joint for forward-backward movement

no waist movement and head movement.

the bad thing though is that:
1.) he has side panels that hinder his arm movement in robot mode.
2.) no ankle joint, this could have helped a lot in poseability of this figure.

though despite this, he has amazing balance and his feet come with retractable claws at the back to aid in stability. also, due to the way the toy is constructed, it can actually have the same level of poseability while in beast mode. RATING: 3 ;)^;)^;)^

3. Transformation:

Very Easy, in fact, there's no challenge to it at all. and this is why i like this figure, it'll last a long time due to the easy transformation.

Beast mode is a fusion between a killer whale (orca) and elephant (tusks). thus the name.
RATING: four ;)^;)^;)^;)^

4. Packaging:

Standard BW deluxe packaging, though mine came loose. but judging by the card back, i'd say these line of figures came with the best-ever packaging artwork and tech specs. there are excellent color pics of the other chase figures, transformation instructions (with TEXT, mind you!), plus the ever interesting tech specs. excellent.
RATING:;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

5. Best feature:

Excellent sculpting and painting, tight joints and solid construction. also, his fin blaster can soak up water and fire an amazingly strong (for the size) burst of water! nice gimmick.
RATING: ;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

OVERALL SCORE: 21 Points.

Would you recommend this toy?

YES. a pretty solid deluxe figure and one of the best to come out of the entire Beast Wars series.

more to come, folks! 8)

Hell, missiles come out of his ASS.

Plus, his cartoon character was better than G1 Prime. Yeah. I said it.

Dem's ah Fightin' words where I come from Boy!! Geewuners come out of the wood work and wonder why Eradicator can say that with avatars and sigs of Optimus Pime.

Just kidding, but yeah I agree, Beast Wars Optimal Optimus, was he shizznick! for hose who don't know here's the skinny on him form Wikipedia:

"* Ultra Optimus Primal (1996)

Primal's original gorilla body, loaded with hidden weapons and special gimmicks. The toy features a set of spring-loaded cannons which flip up over its shoulders and fire rockets, spares of which can be stored in compartments behind the head, or loaded into the second double-barreled launcher, which flips out of the left forearm. The other forearms contains a compartment with a flail weapon, and features other melee weapons in the form of two curved swords, which store in its back. There is a switch on the figures back which activates the movement of his arms - depending on the position of a sliding switches on either arm, Primal can either beat his chest gorilla-style, or spin his forearms for combat with his weaponry. The figure was the largest individual Maximal toy released in the pre-transmetal era. Because the animators made changes to the model, it was not totally accurate to the animated series - in addition to a "battle mask" and the lack of his mouth-slit (leaving him with a face looking much more like the original Optimus Prime), the toy was much larger compared to the other Beast Wars figures than Primal was in the show. This toy was sold under the name Optimus Primal Black Jack in Europe.

A transparent "Clear Convoy" redeco of this figure was released in Japan in 1997, and a flaming red-and-orange redeco was released as part of Beast Wars II in 1998 to represent his "Burning Convoy" form from the animated film. "

Yeah, I know. I am waiting for G1 fanboys to come hunt me dwn and devour my brains.

BW Transmetal: Rampage

How did you get your favourite Beast Wars Toy?

This isn't necessarily my favourite BW toy, but it's definitely one of them. Probably my favourite (or at least top 3) BW characters. I picked up Rampage at a Walmart back in the day. They had him and Depth Charge on sale for $15CDN, regular $30CDN. I was tempted to get both for the price, but at the time I wasn't working and I also wasn't actively collecting Transformers (although I bought the odd basic and deluxe), so I figured I'd settle for one. When I finally did get Depth Charge many years later it cost me a lot more than $15CDN. :)

Rate your Bot: 1 is poor and 5 is the Best ever!!

1. Likeness to cartoon or Media:
Rampage looks pretty much dead on his show representation. There's three obvious short falls. The first is the paint job. His face on the show has more colours used, most notably some silver around the mouth and on the "horns" on the side of his head. In addition his back in crab mode had an X on it. The Japanese version solves both of these paint issues. The other point is how his crab legs are attached. Two of them sit on his robot arms and on the cartoon they were hanging off his back, leaving his robot arms free. The final point is in robot mode he has massive shoulder guards made from his shell in robot mode that he didn't have in the cartoon...

Despite these three setbacks, he's still overall damn close. Everything else is pretty much spot on. If you had seen both you would have no doubt that it's the same character.

RATING: four ;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^

2. Posability:

Good posability. He manages to stand up in a wide variety of poses despite the fact he's got the heavy crab claws hanging off his back. His tight joints probably help in that regard. His crab arms can slightly inhibit the placement of his robot arms, but you can always get around it and you can even do some weird/cool things by using the crab arms as extra appendages for him. The crab legs have ball joints, but are not strong enough to really lift him off the ground in crab mode. Overall good.

RATING: four ;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^

3. Transformation:

He's pretty easy to transform to and from crab mode, which is a plus to me. I like to be able to do the figures and not go mad. :) The tank mode takes some more work to fit the treds out properly and line up the claws in the proper formation, but it looks cool. He's kind of a "shell former" because basically his robot parts mostly just tuck under his crab shell. Still, it's all cool.

RATING: four ;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^

4. Packaging:

Standard BW Packaging. It does the trick. I like the art work on his tech spec and his tech spec reads pretty cool. The package almost looks a little too small for this beast to live in, which makes you feel like you're getting a lot of toy for the money. The back could use a few more pieces of information on him, especially if they had put his gun on. Also the piece between his legs on the back of the box is mistransformed (it shows the screws).

RATING: four ;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^

5. Best feature:

There's a lot of great features here! I think this is the only Transformer toy that has real working tank treads. He's got three modes that are all kind of neat in their own way. I think on the show Rampage more than any Transmetal used all three modes. Speaking of which, number one reason to get this figure was he was an amazing character on the show. A twisted, yet sympathetic monster. Back to the toy, you have the awesome triple shooting gattling gun that rolls when the wheel turns and fires. Both guns hide away nicely in crab mode, which is one of the great things about Beast Wars toys, you're not going to lose all the parts if you put them back.

RATING: five ;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^

OVERALL SCORE: 21 Points.

Would you recommend this toy?

YES! He's a really cool figure. I listed out the negative points above, but it wasn't to sound negative about the figure, it's more these are the ONLY negative points I can think of. If you don't have this figure, go buy it today!

hurry up before I do, I was gonna do him after I eat a very late dinner!! I just got home from work and I'm ready for some seibertron time, oh yeah!! I'll do a different Beast Wars bot after I eat, so you go ahead and do Dinobot.. he's a badass toy!!!

" TM-04 Waspinator "

How did you get your favorite Beast Wars Toy? I ordered him online from BBTS, I missed him online at HLJ, and decided to get the one at BBTS for a little extra 10.00..not a bad company, good shipping times, the product was well protected..

Rate your Bot: 1 ;)^ is poor and 5 ;)^ is the Best ever!!

1. Likeness to cartoon or Media: Waspinator is a dead ringer for his cartoon counterpart, I really enjoyed the excellent metallic paint job that Takara placed on this figure, the faded coloring and the sheens and shines are excellent...not to mention the detailing around his face..top notch!!! He looks like he flew right off the TV and into my hands!!
;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

2. Posability: Very posable and movable, not bad overall...actually, he's comprised of mostly ball joints, in the hips and shoulders area, as well as his head.. very very nice toy!! the knees and arms move with a fairly great amount of movemnt for positions.. the ankles could have had mor articulation, but it's not too bothersome..
;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

3. Transformation:I love how the head splits over his chest, what a neat way to transform a toy..
Transformation is simple, and fun at the same time.......
;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

4. Packaging: Awesome!!! very colorful, artwork is top notch, there's a DVD attached, and there are only 2 twisties total!! I'll have to give this a four on that .....
;)^;)^;)^;)^

5. Best feature: He's a giant Bee!! what more do you want!!?? Actually the best feature on Waspinator is his wings, they are wonderful to pose and make him look all that more menacing!!
;)^;)^;)^

Image

overall score: 22 Points! An excellent toy ;)^

Would you recommend this toy? Yes, I would, I mean what more can you say about a robot Bee that transformers into , well............... a robot bee!!! BBBBZZZZZZZZZZZZ

"1996 Rattrap"

How did you get your favorite Beast Wars Toy? I bought this guy at SDCC last year as well from the same Vender I got seven other Beast Wars toys from. He was $35.00 MOC (Mint On Card), and for an extra $3.00 USD I got a Loose complete one as well!! Overall I spent a total of $125.00 USD and got 7 figure of which 4 were MISB!! Not bad me thinks.

Rate your Bot: 1 ;)^ is poor and 5 ;)^ is the Best ever!!

1. Likeness to cartoon or Media: Rattrap's color scheme in robot mode adds brown and silver into the mix. His upper legs and arms are brown while detailing on his legs and arms are silver. His beast mode head is grey with silver on the forehead and red eyes. The toy is fairly show accurate and the two pieces of the guns connecting together is fairly clever. His face sculpt is a dead on for the TV show and a great likeness overall. I hope Takara Tomy does a new Mold, since the other is supposedly lost forever, and that would make their whole reissues line up a very hot deal indeed.

In beast mode, Rattrap is mostly grey. Some brown is used for his back and tail while his beast mode feet are flesh pink. His beast mode eyes are yellow (although in the Japanese release they were repainted to black to match the TV show). His teeth are white.
;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^ (if Takara rereleased him and gave him a good new paint scheme, he'd be really awesome, and then he'd get a 5)

2. Posability: Very posable and movable, not bad overall...In robot mode, Rattrap has nine points of articulation. Unfortunatley, he is quite back heavy and has a tendency to fall over. This can get quite annoying. However, he is not entirely bad.

As a rat, Rattrap has five points of articulation. Although his beast mode legs are not articulated, the feet are. This is a nice concession considering the transformation style Rattrap utilizes. Overall not a bad beast mode, but not a great one either
;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^

3. Transformation: Pull the tail up to activate the spring loaded transformation. Now straighten out Rattrap's robot arms and remove the halves of his gun from the side panels. Connect the two pieces and place them into his hand. Rotate the beast mode feet around so the toes face each other. Rattrap is now in robot mode! this was before "automorph" became a phrase.
;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^

4. Packaging: A nice picture of the rat and robot in cartoonish style and a bubble wrap around the figure is pretty much all you get, but it was 1996, so all is forgiven.
;)^ ;)^ ;)^

5. Best feature:Rattrap is a great example of how a good character on a television show can make people want a toy very badly. After his breakout appearance on the Beast Wars Transformers television show, this became one heavily sought after toy.

Later on, Rattrap would be repainted and released as part of a two pack for Botcon 1997. As the Maximal thief Packrat, the toy became heavily sought after once again. Thank Goodness I own both!
;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^ ;)^

overall score: 21 Points! An excellent toy

Would you recommend this toy? Yes, Getting stranded on a remote, empty world to serve as a spy and sneak-thief for OPTIMUS PRIMAL wasn't high on his list of priorities for RATTRAP. Smart, sneaky and sarcastic, RATTRAP often rubs other MAXIMALS the wrong way. He's never been to keen on lobbing artillery around like the others; a stand-up fight just isn't his thing. Give him the chance to bust into a PREDACON base and snatch some juicy data though, and that's when he really shines.

Beast Wars Metals X-9 Jaguar (Ravage)

How did you get your favorite Beast Wars Toy?
My mom saw me looking at a picture of him on the internet in December 2004 and asked me what it was. I explained it, but said that I was having a hard time finding one, because I didn't have a Paypal account at the time. Mom whipped out her credit card and said, "merry Christmas."

1. Likeness to cartoon or Media:
Pretty accurate, apart from the jaguar-mode legs on the back. I actually like the toy better than the show counterpart.

2. Poseability:
Pretty good, all things considering. I wish that his neck and waist could rotate. However, he's got excellent articulation in his arms and legs, and his mouth opens, too.

3. Transformation:
Pretty simple. It's obvious that they couldn't get him to turn into a tape like the show, so Takara settled on a jaguar. Transformation is simplistic and results in some kibble under the cat-mode torso. However, he's got rocket jets.

4. Packaging:
Excellent. It comes with a holofoil card, and includes references to his Decepticon past.

5. Best feature:
He's got quite a few. He can "quick-draw" like he did in the show, thanks to a spring-fired mechanism. He also has pull-out rockets in cat mode, and his chest opens up to reveal his spark core. He also comes with a Decepticon sticker than can be applied to his shoulder, but it doesn't really stick that well and has a tendency to fall right back off.

overall score:
Not only my favorite Beast Wars figure, but my favorite Transformer. 10/10.

Would you recommend this toy?

Hell yeah.

oh man, that is PURE AWESOMENESS. this figure is one of the freakin' grails for us BW collectors, with prices matching the MP-01 Masterpiece OP. i think aside from the Lucky Draw BW figs, this toy is the most expensive BW toy ever released.

I agree with Zemper, as a Beast Wars enthusist, I am very jealous of your acquisition of Ravage,Operation Ravage, I always liked how they incorporated the back story of his G-1 persona, and how he was upgraded with the "Maximal Upgrade Program" into what he was in the show. A really nice figure, the future Ravage from G-1, the concept, the idea and the actual Toy are all worth the time and money to track down. Great ratings review, if he's 10/10 he'd actually be 25 out of 25 on the scale set forth in previous posts.. still, nice review. I will certainly have to get a Ravage X-9 figure. What did you end up paying for yours?

I'm hoping Takara Tomy decides to continue their reissues line under the banner of 10th anniversary, like Skywarp-2 pointed out, Transmetals showcased a year later, which would work for the reissues. But then again who cares, they are an awesome series of reissues, put 10th anniversary on it, or not, doesn't matter, I just want those show accurate repaints and reworked and improved molds like they have been doing. If they continued into Transmetals, then we might see a reissues Ravage, or a Reissue Optimal Optimus, now that would Rock!

Kudos to you Takara Tomy, your a Beast Wars fan's best friend. :APPLAUSE:

Hell yeah.

oh man, that is PURE AWESOMENESS. this figure is one of the freakin' grails for us BW collectors, with prices matching the MP-01 Masterpiece OP. i think aside from the Lucky Draw BW figs, this toy is the most expensive BW toy ever released.

how much did your mom get this figure?

I agree, and if you go to the seibertron Gallery section, you can really see the difference bewteen Hasbro's reissues and Takara's. Hasbro really could have been better at their reissues of Beast Wars, but since they weren't I actually Passed on th Hasbro Versions, they really made me mad with how they just dumped on the 10th anniversary like that with the way they just released sloppy looking figures, no special paint applications, old molds and old heads, nothing new or better then what takata Tomy took the time to do and do it right!! :-x

So, yeah, like Maximal Primal just said, thanks Takara Tomy!! you didn't have to do what you did for Beast Wars reissues, but you did it anyways......Hasblo was just making a quick buck and on to the next project.. Jerks!!! Anyone feel different because they added the transmutate figure, fine you can argue that, but one toy doesn't make up for a lackluster release....especially when you havce to buy the whole crappy reissued set to get that darn figure.. Sorry, this part of what happened a year ago, really burns me up..!!!

Thanks to everyone who showed an interest in my review of X-9 Jaguar!

I think that my mom ended up paying about $90, although I've seen boxed and sealed versions go for upwards of $150 on BBTS and eBay.

Still, it's a great figure, and well worth the cost if you consider yourselves a Beast Wars or G1 completist. It's well worth the price, and I'd if you're interested in getting the figure, I'd buy it as soon as possible. It seems to be relatively rare, and I think that the demand for it is only going to increase.

Not a problem, I will do my best to give him a Proper review, he is a sweet toy afterall, and in honor of "Code of Hero" I am gonna give this one my all... so without further ado, here is the Dinobot Review!!

" TM-05 Dinobot "

How did you get your favorite Beast Wars Toy? I ordered him online from Hobby Link Japan. This was my single greatest order and Beast wars Haul, I felt like a kid on X-mas day, and couldn't wait to open my package, and to my delight, I saw the most wonderful sight, a realistically Painted group of Beast Wars toys!!!

Rate your Bot: 1 ;)^ is poor and 5 ;)^ is the Best ever!!

1. Likeness to cartoon or Media: The Dinobot mold was/is very popular. The basic mold of Dinobot was used in several repaints and one remold. In the Beast Wars Transformers toy line, he was repainted as the former Autobot/Dinobot Grimlock, then repainted again as part of the Fox Kids! line of toys. In Japan, Takara repainted him to have more show-accurate colors as part of their Beast Wars line. Later, the basic Dinobot mold would be reworked to create Thrustol. His primary color is flesh pink, with black stripes and details around his eyes and on his nose. His beast mode eyes are orange. His beast mode teeth are colored white.

Detailing has always been a strong point of Beast Wars, and it is nice to take a look at this mold and see where the care for detail began in this line. Although his outer skin is "organic", the insides of the spinning blade clearly show a mechanical layer. His robot legs are designed to look like the internal structure of an organic being.

The sides look very much like rib bones, and the front sections look like there is one huge bone on each leg. The knee area shows what looks almost like a mouth with sharp teeth in it. In robot mode, There is a lot more of his flesh-pink color in plain sight now, including his sword. The inside of his spinning blade weapon is painted red. His robot head is primarily brown, and the faceplate is blue. The metallic paint and show accurate color applications delt by Takara really make him stand out as a wonderful figure. The figure features a paint scheme as seen in the TV series.
;)^;)^;)^

2. Posability: Very posable and movable, In beast mode Dinobot suffers from "undercarriage junk" syndrome. The parts which become his robot legs in robot mode act as his underbelly, but are a bit large and look out of place. However, the rest of the mold is very nicely executed with cross hatching designs used on the dinosaur "skin" and sharp looking claws. In beast mode, Dinobot has thirteen points of articulation. This includes his mouth opening and closing as well as five points of articulation on each beast mode leg. Overall, this is a nice beast mode, but the underbelly junk destroys a lot of the "robots in disguise" illusion.

In robot mode, the head of the Dino form becomes his chest, and there are pieces of a Dino mask that split apart to reveal his actual show accurate robot head, the hands are similar to what he had on the TV design, and the legs are pretty close as well, but the overall Robot mode suffers a bit from lack of cartoon accuracy. Still he's a nice bot regardless and boasts a whopping 16 points of articualtion in robot mode, which can certainly give the best articualted toys a run for their money. Not to mention his ability to hold wonderful dynamic poses.
;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

3. Transformation:Begin Dinobot's transformation by removing his tail. Split it open to reveal his sword weapon. Detach the sword and keep the tail piece open as the "spinning blade" weapon. Set these aside for now. Next, flip up the hind piece where the tail piece attached. Fold down the robot legs and flip out the halves of the robot feet. Flip up the flanks of the beast mode and fold down the beast mode legs to form the robot arms. Now swing down the dinosaur head and twist the robot head around. The robot head has "mutant head" halves which can be opened up to reveal the robot head underneath. Finally, attach each weapon to the holds in his hands, and the transformation is complete.......not bad!
;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

4. Packaging: Awesome!!! very colorful, artwork is top notch, Dinobot comes packed in beast mode. He also Comes with a metallic character card and DVD with DVD case. The DVD includes: the full-length ninth episode of Beast Wars with Japanese audio, a diorama story brought to life using Beast Wars toys featuring Dinobot versus Black Arachnia, and a character data file of Dinobot, there are twistie ties, but you get so much in this package and release, it really doesn't make it too much of a big deal......
;)^;)^;)^;)^

5. Best feature: Pressing the button on the spinning blade toys makes the blades spin like a rotor. This is a nice action feature and something the character did regularly on the show.
;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

Image

overall score: 22 Points! A Very excellent toy :APPLAUSE:

Would you recommend this toy? Yes, I would, Dinobot was one of the first break out characters in beast mode. Once a Predacon, then a Maximal, Dinobot embodied what many fans thought a good complex Transformers character should be. The toy was different in many ways from the television show's CGI model, but that didn't matter and Dinobot was and still is scooped up very quickly by fans and collectors.

Overall, this toy holds up well over time. Although there have been many toy advances over the course of the Beast Wars Transformers line, this toy is a great look at where things began with this line. It's also a fun toy, and a cool character, the paint applications, packaging and reputation of the character shine through, I definitely recommend him as a "Must Buy!"

ok, that's it for me for today, some one else needs to do a review, they take alot out of you..for sure. But I do so love the forums and the subject material.

well done review, 'warp! you really puckered up my interest again in acquiring this figure! may be after Big Convoy, TM-01 Primal, etc... LOL :P

i have questions though:

1.) i see that he's got ball joints for knees. though i assume that this greatly aids in this figure's poseability, how would you rate its durability? does it get loose easily (assuming you've had this figure for quite sometime now) or does it remain tight to this day?

2.) does the DVD that comes with it (and every other TM-0x takara reissue) have any english translations, i.e. subtitles or something?
all the comments above are the HUMBLE OPINIONS of the said user only. 'nuff sed.

"Corhada"

How did you get your favorite Beast Wars Toy?I'd wanted one since I was ten years old and saw it on BWTF.com, but sadly, it wasn't available anywhere online for a decent price. When BBTS listed the reissue on sale for $15, I almost ordered it, but my mom got all pissy about me buying toys and eventually discouraged me from getting it. I finally got my chance when BBTS got all the old Japanese Beast Wars stock in and it was going for around $13 --- a complete steal!

Rate your Bot: 1 ;)^ is poor and 5 ;)^ is the Best ever!!

1. Likeness to cartoon or Media: A spitting image of his cartoon counterpart. I would have prefered the more toned-down paint scheme and the frosty coloring of the underside of the tail that was on the reissue, but it's still a nice looking 'bot.
;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

2. Posability: He's very posable. The snake hood, which is now sort of a cape, blocks some arm movement, but it's alright. The tail arm is freakin' awesome and makes for some great action poses. I wish it weren't so loose, so that I could pose him with the arm sticking straight out as if to lash at someone, but you can't get everything. ;)^;)^;)^:)^

3. Transformation: Not horribly complex, yest not easy enough for a monkey. It's certainly different --- the spinning torso thing is pretty cool, and I like how the arm gun ends up as a cobra venom squirter... thing. ;)^;)^;)^;)^

4. Packaging: It's the original packaging. For a deluxe figure, the packaging is impressive. Boxed, no twist ties, and a nice overall coloration. It's eye catching. ;)^;)^;)^;)^

5. Best feature: Either the venom squirting feature or the tail. Gotta love that tail.;)^;)^;)^;)^;)^

overall score: 22 points

Would you recommend this toy? Totally. Not only is it the only really good looking snakeformer (out of two, really), he's got some great posability, nice play features, and a killer paint scheme. The detailing is superb. Overall a kickass figure. It's a shame that it wasn't ever released outside of Japan.

His ball joints actually Snap loudly when you place his feet back on, they can pop out if you bend them too far out of their normal range, but yeah, those ball joints are very very very very tight, it took some doing to snap them back in.. you could almost pose him with one leg in the air like he was kicking and leave him that way, forever!!!! That is how tight this guys joints are.. very cool!!

Yes, they come with every reissues, and yes there are English subtitles, it's pretty cool, if you are used to viewing alot of Subbed anime, it's actually pretty interesting to see it in Japanese..

although I prefer the American issue, which I bought the collection of DVDs as a boxed set.. I just love Gary Chalk's Optimus Prime, and the Megatron's incessant, YEEESSS.... just sends chills down my spine, cause I know he's about to do something dasterdly..

the fight senes for a cartoon were almost on par with the movie.. it was awesome, especially the Starscream/Waspinator episode, oooohhh OUCH!!!! ( for those of you who doin't know or haven't watched that episode yet, check it out, you won't regret it, trust me!!)

My favorite is BW2 Galvatron. Awesome transformation and I love the dragon and drill tank modes. Nice array of weapons too.

Great review Dispenser!! I like it very much!! so I'm gonna talley our score so far for those who are reading this for a score count, it will list the reviewee and the reviewer's score and name:

My Reviews: 25 points is the maximum allowed per figure, 25 Points means this guy is a perfect toy, buy it when you can!! 1 Point or less means, chuck this one in the spare parts or Kitbash bin, because he's just crap.. Individual tastes will very, so what one reviewer will like the other may hate and vice versa, you don't have to agree with anyone's view. Just have fun

Well, that ius it on the reviews side, and yeah I can see why Skywarp-2 is tired of doing them, you really went off! Nice to see your Beast Wars Passion coming out though, great job everyone!! so far these are the scores for the toys that have been rated by fans and collectors, what's your take on a character or Beast Wars toy?

Rate and review one of your favorites, then come back and rate some more!! You'll enjoy the time and effort put in, and you'll appreciate the figure a little more as well.

I will be adding up totals as we get through so that near the end we have a complete list of figures and ratings for fans to browse through and get a quick idea about some of the pluses or downsides to a particular Beast Wars toy, one of my most favorite subjects in the Transformers Universe!

oh, an by the way, you can rate a figure even if someone else has already done it. the only rule here is to have fun and enjoy the Beast wars!

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Silverbolt yet. I think he's pretty good but I have a ton of favorites and I'd be sitting here typing all day. =D

See, Corhada is the only Beastformer I own. My mom threw out all of my old collection a few years ago because I sort of grew out of collecting. I'd review Quickstrike if I had it in my hands now.
