I think in My humble opinion, Voyager Optimus Prime, in Robo vision is the best example of the movie Optimus Prime, in terms of colors, and proportions, barring the huge grill on his back..still he's got a cool box, and is packaged in robot mode, and comes with a cool decoder like the old g-1 style...I likeey alot.. he's the bot..

I still Like Voyager class, but I wish he was retooled to be less bulky and more closely resembling the actual CGI bot from the movie..

It seems people agree with the fact robovision prime is perhaps the best looking movie toy at the moment aside from protoform starscream

I may have to reconsider my decision to stick only with the Leader class Prime...

Leader Class is just as nice. Nothing wrong with that. But the Primes are a little smaller than I expected. The "leaked" pics always made them seem like 12" figures.

I don't put too much blame on Takara and Hasbro for the toy designs. Takara stated last month that designing the Transformers Movie Toys has been a real challenge. Usually they start from scratch and design a robot, vehicle, and transformation. After the toy is designed- sketches and concept art are given to comic and cartoon designers.

Unfortunately, things didn't work that way this time. The robot designs and vehicles were designed first. The designs were then given to Takara and they had to design the transformation along with the gimmicks.

After viewing Ryan's photo gallery of Optimus Prime Movie Version leader class I have found what I call a simply Iconic image.. it just rings out..T-SHIRT!!! I mean to even have this designed in an actual comicbook style and placed on a T-Shirt would be amazing.. I mean this is like kickass!!!

I think if the image was blown up and cartonized in a photoshop program, that maybe it would be easy to replicate it as a T-shirt.. I would love to see it in a cell shaded form and transferred to T-shirt format.. i mean, simply Wow!!! Ryan, Nice Job!!! It's like one of those iconic shirts that have superman/clark kent, or bruce banner/the Hulk.. its an amazing image.. and simply the perfect thing to place on a shirt for the upcoming movie.. I want it!! and I'm gonna try to get it printed, I just need to get it turned into a cartoony image.. does someone have a photoshop program that could make it look cartoony???

"REVISION" I have decided that the earlier posts on this subject were at best skewed in comparisons so, with th erecent additions of the Leader Class Optimus Prime to the Gallery section, I am reasking the question, and if some of want to revise your opinion, please feel free to voice it.. i for one am now pretty impressed with leader class Optimus Prime..

Pretty much. I have my figures on a shelf where you can't see the back of them anyways. So whatever looks the most impressive from the front is what I pick. **** Bonecrusher looks horrible from behind. But from the front everything looks fine and dandy.

I just don't get it people like Voyager Movie Prime, but it looks like grade A fecal matter. Leader Prime is more "movie accurate" by the virtue of he doesn't have the hood hanging from his damn back, and looking like freakin' the hunchback of Cybertron!!
