That was awesome. Particularly since Weyoun was being so smug at the time. I so miss DS9 -- easily best Trek ever.
QFT
A heck of a lot better than the 7 of 9 show...I mean Voyager.
Moonbase2 wrote:Enterprise is the worse Trek of all time. Absolutely dismal. You have to follow the Trek formula, or it's a bust! You can't have a Bon Jovi song or something as your theme song! Every other one has an orchestral theme! Grr! It didn't FEEL like Trek, just a low-budget, poor facsimile of a sci-fi show.
Best is DS9
then TOS
Voyager and TNG are tied
Trek bloopers and outtakes
probably TOS cartoon
Enterprise

I always thought it was a shame that DS9 never had a chance to shine on it's own. It was forced to share air time with TNG initially and then later Voyager. It was as if Paramount treated DS9 as the bastard stepchild.
Personally I'd rate the modern Trek series (from best to worse):
1 DS9
2 TNG
3 Enterprise
4 Voyager
As for Rodimus, I've never owned his G1 toy (I'd like to) but I do have and recommend his 6" Titanium.

Moonbase2 wrote:Enterprise (at least what I've seen) has a much smaller pool of aliens to showcase (basically the Vulcans, Klingons, and maybe Romulans, as far as I know) and dang it, it doesn't FEEL like Star Trek. So I lost interest immediately. That's why I feel meh about a ST prequel movie. They better respect the original set designs if they're gonna have me believe this is Kirk and Spock I'm seeing.
Voyager is just meh. Nothing great, nothing terrible. So is TNG. But DS9...that's different. They went in a new direction, showed sides of Starfleet and their officers we've never seen before. We got to see them in ongoing stories with the same characters in the same settings. I LOVE Gul Dukat's character, and enjoyed his descent into utter madness (not to mention his relationship with Kira). Odo made for an interesting alien, and we got to see him slowly blossom over the years. And Kira, how she went from a furious hothead to someone softer and wiser...I just didn't see this kind of development in any other Trek, and almost no other show period. It's gold.

But the one thing i didnt like about DS9, due to it being set on a space station was that it was a little too static compared with TNG and Voyager, Voyager in particular had the 'boldly going where no one has gone before' spirit that hadnt really been seen since TOS

But having it in a space station didn't limit the stories completely. You had the delta quadrant and the Bajoran/Cardassian conflict. And of course, the war. Voyager's characters just don't interest me like DS9's.
