Update:ps found out that the predaking is not Part of the encore series, may I know what toyline it is in?
rizuan76 wrote:That's how Takara made it.
gavinfuzzy wrote:Actually, Predaking was originally made by bandai but takara gained the rights to the mold![]()
*edit i found an old pic of my predaking![]()
petermooka wrote:Aiyoh... how come so sotong?
Both are G1 reissues, but just that predaking doesn't fall under encore name.

As for the history of the Predaking toy, you got it all mixed up man. I dun wanna go any further into this topic, as it may make our alrdy confused Dragongun even more confused as he's confused by all this confusion.
gavinfuzzy wrote:Ok, lolIt's a toy ... there's no more than meets the eyes

Or rather you thought you are in the Bandai Predaking thread and post in the Hasbro/Taktomy Predaking thread instead.
This is not MSN. Go PM the person DIRECTLY.
PLS DO NOT POST IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO MENTION ABOUT HASTAK PREDAKING PRODUCTS!!!"

Dragongun - chill out a bit, mateyour response are coming in thick and fast and the frequency of it might send out the wrong vibes. We're all here for friendships and when friends don't know, they consult.
Nothing wrong with what you did but some of the questions you've asked have either been addressed before and sparked massive debates (Scale of toys like Devastator vs Predaking) or on point of![]()

(why Predaking look like Encore but not considered Encore)
Gavinfuzzy - Predaking has only been released three times (correct me if i'm wrong) - original issue in the G1 cartoon era of late 80s to early 90s, Takara 20th Anniversary in 2004 and the 2010 Predaking.
Don't put the troll face there please
gavinfuzzy wrote:Yes... but that's quite alot of times for a combiner to be reissued. ANd yes... the price would keep increaseing as the raity increases, not price decrease. Quoting from TF WIKI "It's your own fault if you ignored this when it was reissued, you know."If you want it, get it now
And take a look where the troll face should be

so when u're expert and did some research, once u're armed with better knowledge and found some better 'lobangs' can start to get non-readily available toys e.g 3rd party and preorder stuffs, then u slowly prepare and set aside some cash to pay those preorder/3rd party stuffs...
so at least those toys when bought during ur beginner stage, u dun like can still sell, eventho cannot sell much like henkei/generation toys but at least u hv spare cash to top up to get better toys in e future...
start small lah, now cannot get nvm, hopefully there will be a reissue, then can prepare to strike and buy alr lah!!! haha
Just my 2cents and experince as a collector when I started 3-4 yrs back...
Kamex wrote:gavinfuzzy wrote:Actually, imo there has to be a balance, there are perks to both waiting/buying on the spot, takes time to get a good guage.
Buy nonstop and you will end up selling/running out of space/money, wait longer and you might get a better deal, or the toy's price might skyrocket.
Though personally, I'm on the side of caution, lucky to have only 3-4 TFs that i'm super meh about from the 'starting collector's rush to get everything'.
