He's a lot like Roy from Melee, but he looks a lot cooler. Like the bastard clone-child of Snake and Marth.

Ike is far superior to Marth and Roy even his A moves can be finishing moves.

I liked him to Roy in that he's a stronger, heavier version of Marth. To be fair, I never really liked Roy, but Ike's obscene levels of power put him a step above either of the previous Fire Emblem characters.

I get good 1 v 1 connections to FL all the time. We should play soon.

If you are indeed a noob...don't dispair too much when you get rocked. Whenever something seems cheap, or "bullshit", recognize the good tactic and steal it. After a few good matches and a week or two, you'll be cut out of wood.

Well, it is awesome. As far as beat 'em ups go, it's top notch. But it's not the "killer app" I was hoping it would be. The core fighting mechanics are great (clever use of Wiimote, too) and the plot is entertaining as heck. Though the game's biggest weakness is the world map elements — the times where you drive around on a bike and go store to store, look for hidden items, etc. — could have been limited to something similar to a drop down menu. It only serves to slow down the game. Granted the world map isn't terrible, but it's not as compelling as GTA or even the Spider-Man games.

All in all, I recommend it.

WiFi has been terribly unstable lately...

Well at least you guys can ACCESS the Wifi. :c I bought the USB adapter for my PC (originally for use with my DS, I just got a Wii about a month ago) and I have a load of compatibility issues... so it's a no-go until I figure out how to get the blasted thing working.

What issues are you having with the USB connector? As I understand it that is so you can get an internet signal from your router/modem. If you want to run the internet to your computer, and then hook the Wii to your computer for internet access you'll need whats called a crossover cable. (you will also have to check a couple network settings in your computer).

when I hook up the USB and use it with my DS, I get the error code 52002.

Unable to obtain an IP address. Move within range of the access point or check DHCP settings.

I'm sitting right next to the USB port. Don't think I can get much closer. xD;

OH! I misunderstood. I though you had the connector that makes it so the Wii can be wired it. But you have a USB device for your computer....

What is the make and model? Does your computer recognize it when you plug it in?

Wierdest thing. I decided to try out the connection with my Wii...

AND IT WORKS. I'm sitting here spectating some Brawls much to my amusement.

I guess my DS was just being a gigantic douche and only works at the college with their wireless. :C
