I've got a Starscream and Skywarp(both since replaced with Hasbro versions) as well as the black chrome Seeker. Starscream is kinda floppy(but I've heard that's an issue with the official mold to begin with), but Skywarp is fine. The black chrome seeker has some very tight joints on the wrists(it took me forever to finally get them out of the forearms) and leg extensions due to the extra width from chroming the parts. The plastic quality seemed fine on my three and I was happy with the purchases once chrome boy was fully transformed. I more replaced them cause I got amazing deals on Starscream and Skywarp(both really cheap thanks to Craigslist lots of parents selling stuff their kids "outgrew").

I just wanna get the two last Rainmakers(Universe Acidstorm is lonely) and I love Generics, so I want some cannon fodder with the Air Warriors.

my CHMS's werent bad. overly tight some spots, overly loose in others, but over all pretty decent.

i have the henkei thundercracker and skywarp... and lemme tell you, for an official product those suck. they have some QC problems, which is pretty disappointing for an expensive exclusive. i bought them right when they came out so i know theyre not KO's (no one was KO'ing them yet) but the quality isnt much different. thats kinda what makes me want to get the asia seeker sets.

Hmm, Music Label Soundwave fills my Neo-G1 needs just fine. I don't wanna say he's perfect, since mileage varies, but for me there hasn't been any made since that fits better.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

If you're on the fence, I will tell you right now, get those Asian market Seeker sets. They are fantastic. You WILL love them. Get them before they become scarce and the prices skyrocket.

I have no problem mixing in WFC/FOC figures into my Classics shelf because they're all CH- er- Classics to Generations figures so there's at least some unity among them. I'd much rather use Generations Laserbeak than GDO Laserbeak which looks a little too Movie-ish for my tastes.

If I could scrounge up the cash, I would probably get the Music Label Soundwave, but for now, either of the WFC/FOC Soundwaves works for me. Especially since IDW repurposed them into G1 anyway.

Yes, these Asian market 3-packs are turning out to be fantastic. I've got the two Autobot: Specialists and one (so far) Decepticon: Specialists sets on pre-order. With any luck, we'll get a few more of these releases in the near future. I'd love another go at Smokescreen, with better color layouts than the Universe version, and no random chrome like the Henkei version.

Really glad someone else agrees with me on this. I've been saying it for years and I always get disapproval when I bring it up.

MP Soundwave?

I know he's very big and very expensive, but he's the closest thing to a "perfect" G1 Soundwave there is. Well, the Takara version anyway, as the Hasbro version decided to copy the toy's colours.

Anyway, he looks exactly like how the character was supposed to look (no lunchbox torso!), he's decently articulated, and he has the best incarnation of the cassettes thus far. He can even press his shoulder button! If I ever make the space, I'll buy him.

Of course, if you want something more in scale, I'd say the WFC/FOC looks best. The Cybertron figure looks great too, but is very much his own thing, and doesn't really fit in with the CHUG line.

i actually really like the henkei datsuns, especially smokescreen. the red chrome spoiler is verrry nice. but if they asia three pack'd them im sure theyd trump the henkeis.. that shiney paint looks good on everything.

back to soundwave, i was 95% sure i was going to get mugan vox since i need a classics ratbat anyways. but all the talk about KFC's quality lately has me second guessing. but ive seen peugh(?)'s review and says the quality is pretty standard. ill probably still get him, just not right away.

:-?
I wish Hasbro had done the oh so obvious repaint of the WfC/FoC Deluxe Soundwave as Blaster, as they did with the Voyager.
Maybe some cheeky china man will KO it in Blasters colours? ;)

Or, you could put deluxe WfC Soundwave with voyager FOC Blaster on your shelf and achieve G1 toy-accurate scaling! ;)
