I took advantage of the Target 25% off sale to get a second troop builder yesterday morning. Opened it in the afternoon, and discovered the Seeker and the Autotrooper were missing. Was able to return the pack, but I haven't gotten the discount back.

Target has Transformers on sale at 15% off regular price. If you haven't used your 25% off one toy and $5 off a toy purchase, then this may be the time to use them. I bought the Troop Builder 4 Pack for less than $50 total with tax.

Five sets! That's a quite hefty troop you've built. I think all 4 figures in this set are pretty solid though. Especially, for me, is that really cool Animated Universe Autotrooper.

Nice. I ended up with 6 during the Target $25 off $100.

I ended up using my 25% off one last week stacked with another deal for MPM Bonecrusher, got his preorder locked down to $110.

Mine wasn't nearly as exciting, but I got ROTB Beast Combiner Optimus Prime for what I'm calling $6 and some change thanks to the three % discounts (25, 15, 5), the $5 off and a $10 Circle earning shared with a Ninja Turtle. That was the only new thing I've seen in my local store in a while. Got excited when I saw a SS86 Dinobot only to realize it was Sludge and not Snarl.

I just figured out that between the promos (both current and one from a little while back), and selling-off 4 of the figures (2 from each 4 pack I bought), I have two Allicons, a Seeker Trooper, and have made $10...
Plus I plan on selling the other Seeker Trooper... Having 3 new figures and making around $20-$30 total makes all this a very sweet deal.

I wanted an odd number. I had site maxed out at PULSE and Target.com with 3 and 1 respectively.
This will give me the sweet spot of 5.
If they go low though, i will buy in groups of 2 to maintain it all.

Ollie's newest flyer arrived and there's a couple of Transformers items listed. I figure it's likely a lot of Cyber Battalion figures since that's what they pictured, but I'll be interested to see which Legacy and Retro figures they have. The Retro figures are probably the TR reissues in G1 style packaging. I'll probably head there tomorrow and I'll let you know what I find.

We've seen Ross get the Velocitron exclusives, and now we see where more exclusive stock has gone. It has been reported that Citi Trends stores have Transformers toys now. Below you will see images of Legacy Jhiaxus, Buzzworthy Bonecrusher, and the Beast Wars reissues found in one of their stores. They are selling for $15, $17 and $8 respectively. This was posted on Facebook by TF fan Sean.

I remember when Citi Trends had the Human Alliance figures on the pegs way back when. I went to pick up Drag Strip but it was gone by the time I went back for it. I still don't have that Drag Strip either. I should get one of those.

I had zero hopes of finding anything at Ross two weeks ago but walked out with a nice little haul. I found Buzzworthy Cliffjumper and B-127 as well as Velocitron Shadowstrip, Crasher and Scourge. I picked them all up even though I already had CJ and Scourge. I seen Kingdom Buzzsaw too but already had him. No sign of Galaxy Shuttle or Cosmos but I have them already and only want another Galaxy Shuttle or two for customs. Found a few Dragon Stars that were interesting like Nappa and Cooler. Bean Daddy was there too. Picked up a Lightning Collection Cog and a few rangers. The twins were there but they're everywhere you can find any GI Joe Classified figures. There was also a few interesting MHA and Demon Slayer "figures" there that I picked up for my niece and her fiance for Christmas as they're going to go nuts for them.

That Retrax reissue is made with a piece missing right? I don't have one and never did but I just can't bring myself to pick one of them up. Especially when it's incomplete out of the package. I might pick up an Iguanus as that's another one I never had. I picked up Wolfang, K-9 and Cybershark though. Those were about the only ones I was interested in unless they want to make a single release of Magnaboss Silverbolt WITHOUT the GPS or some Transmetals and Transmetal 2s without the chrome. Maybe Jetstorm. I think mine is missing a piece so it would be nice to get a new one. The rest I think I have or have the ones I want.

I already have Buzzworthy Bonecrusher from a previous sale. I might pick up another Jhiaxus. It's a really good mold and it's a shame that not many people seem to have purchased him. It doesn't help that he has a slight case of yellowing though. I wish Senator Shockwave used that mold instead of the Siege Seeker mold. While I do like the Tetrajet mold, I think the Jhiaxus mold could've worked just as well if not better with a similar amount of retooling. Plus it has the opening hands to emote with. But I don't think it would've gotten the retooling then as the Tetrajet mold has long since paid for itself by now with how many releases it had and that's probably how they found the budget for the retooling to begin with.

Did Walmart and Walmart.com even sell K-9? Never saw him in stores (or Iguanus for that matter) and he's the only Beast Wars reissue you can't buy from Walmart on Walmart.com.

Gonna be dead honest - I moved to Las Vegas some time ago, and it's definitely a "quantity over quality" city (meaning, that there are a TON of stores, but they are horrendously slow to restock). Like... there are times since I moved here where I've seen a roundabout... six week gap between restocks. It's nuts.

I have never seen either Iguanus or K-9 at the Walmarts I frequent in the city (and I collect Beast Wars figures and characters almost exclusively), and so I started checking Ross stores on a whim after I saw this article. I hit... I want to say 7 or 8 stores over the past two days, and only found 2 or 3 transformers items in each location. Period. Which was insane considering how much toys in general they had on the floor.

Considering my history hunting in Las Vegas, I want to believe that my stores just haven't gotten this "new" stock in yet, for the simple fact that it seems unlikely to me that hunters have already beaten me to so many stores. Anyone else on the West Coast USA having similar issues?

Hmmm, that's interesting. For the Ross stores here in Florida they stock the toys extremely randomly throughout the store. There's usually a few shelves all the way in the back where toys are just kind of haphazardly stocked. Then there's usually a few tables somewhere in the middle with various toys (sometimes there's also more shelves). Then there's bins, usually somewhere in the front by the checkouts, that have toys. I guess they do that so you get really excited when you find something and then you can't leave without it.
