Dude. You actually made me hold my breath for a second. Comic vandalism is a serious issue and should be punishable by permanent banishment from the fandom. (Seriously, is it too late? )

[Edit: little better pose now, Shocky is tipped more forward, making the cutout look more like a shadow. I won't tell you how many pictures and pose fiddling I did to get this... ]

Probaby Eggplant. I do like a nice deep purple.

I would have gone with violet. Lots of folks confuse violet with lavender and the lighter shades, but the flower from which it's named is a dark deep purple.

Violet is too light and eggplant is too dark. I would pick something between those 2, but it's not on the chart.

Yeah, as much as I like the color of MP Shocky, I would have gone with that choice too, Seibs. I just don't think the purple we got is all that bad...

I'd pick the one labeled Iris, or a slightly darker (but not too dark) shade of it. Or maybe a slightly lighter shade of the one labeled Mauve (which as is looks too gray). Everything else looks either too light, too dark, or too "pinkish" for Shockwave.

Just opened mine. He looks great and once transformed feels solid enough though I think there are some easily broken parts in the legs. The way you can get a small amount of side to side tilt on his head adds quite a bit of character.

Wasn't sure if i was going to prefer him to Quakewave but I do. When you stand them side by side Quakewave is too boxy.

Got mine. Honestly.... I'm a little underwhelmed by him. He's nice and all, but he's got no heft to him and I fear I'm going to snap his shoulders every time I move his arms. Also I wish he was a little larger. Like, the proportions are spot on, but when put beside Soundwave, he's just looks a little..... thin.

Hey, those of you that have Shocky, does your plate that the head attaches to lock in place up? Mine seems to only be held up by friction, and I am afraid I will experience drooping head syndrome over time. I didn't want to break him trying to force it up into place.

Doesnt lock as far as I can tell. I tried a bit of force but no lock.

Mine locked, but it took a bit of force at an awkward angle on his head to get it to do so. I can't really describe what I did, but yeah, it was a very scary lock to click in place. Also releasing it from it's alt mode lock place was pretty difficult.

Mine locks when you push the head in and when you pull the head out.

It seems like you all would like Shockie in G2 CW Motormaster purple. I'm very happy with color. The only thing I would change is the smoothness of the top of the gun mode, since that becomes the back.

If you don't mind sharing, where did you get him and for how much? I'm trying to find the best option as far as price and shipping vs. shipping time. I want to get the figure ASAP, but not pay an arm and a leg.

Yep, I got mine to lock finally. I put constant pressure on it, slightly toward the back, and it popped in. After the first time, it seemed to work better each additional time. Still, it was nerve wracking to press on Shocky's head like that.
