Actually more than $50, since the MP is $120 plus shipping. I just ordered the one above last week and very happy with it being MP size and matching week with Ratrap, Blackarachnia, and the rest.

Only 13$ more than the one you bought and you get all the extra faces, articulation and superior proportions in both modes. And unlike that one, the MP will raise in value later while the others will lower in value. But you might not care about that and thats fine.

Cobotron, I know you are reading this. And I am just curious. I know you like your original Primal, and i think he's super cool. He is irreplaceable and will always be the TF gorilla to have on all fours. But if you want a standing gorilla...

One thing though, we still dont know if he fits in the MP10 trailer. Tkara has suspiciously left those images out. And what's this idea of not posting a pic of Optimus Primal shaking MP-10's hand?!



Anyways, I actually dont dislike the back fo his gorilla feet as much, but his elbows are annoying me a little. That shot of him in the superman pose is not great. Though we all know why they are like that... because theyw ere like that on the show

WHOA!!! Look at the back of his legs in beast mode! People were complaining about that exposed robot mode leg detail, but look! They actually covered up his red knee caps with additional white pieces to make the whole white area on each leg more consistently whole and hide all the red! That's awesome!

They are just like the OG's. It is odd they wouldn't improve upon them. Although they do allow his forearms to bend inward far enough to beat his chest.

What is this? Middle school? All the peer pressure!

It's not that I don't think this is a fine looking MP, and I couldn't be more excited that BW is getting the MP treatment. It has to do with priorities. I fell in love with original toy years before I even saw the show. I was not a fan of the show for it's art direction, but it's amazing story telling. I can see how those who grew up on the show would see this as the quintessential Primal, but to me the OG toy is that. So I don't feel I need an upgrade. The OG is perfect in my eyes. He's the one I point to when people ask, If there was a fire, and you could only save one toy...

There is so much awesome new stuff on the horizon, UW Comps, all of TR, not to mention a few pending pre-orders, that I have to trim the fat somewhere. I spent way too much last year on TFs. I'm just trying to play it safe. Like Will said above by the end of the year, MP Primal could make my Xmas list.

So sorry D, it will have to be your call to make. But I will support your decision either way.

Go to Botcon, find some fun stuff and then when you get back you can see if you can still afford this guy. If you cant, no problem, just wait till Amiami has its listing and order from them. Then you can build you funds until the time he ships in September

Same here. I hope they at least do Megs. I really like the season one design and I need one that holds together better, handles kibble better, and has a functioning hand.

I'm waiting for HLJ to pop up. They've kinda earned my MP loyalty. The nice thing about budgets, is that since TR looks like ****, and I'm not buying a headmaster of a non headmaster figure, there is plenty of room in my budget this year. Gonna get quitena few 3rd party figures too!
