Well that all depend on you definition of bad. Design-wise they were prety well engineered but the asthetic design was pretty unattractive to me, plus the movie provided me with little or no characterisation to help me get over the ugly designs and want to own the figures. I really doesn't matter how technically 'good' a figure is, if you dont like the subject matter why would you buy it?

Well I dont speak Japanese so I could really enjoy the Manga or the Radio show. The figures were things of beauty and I enjoyed the rather quirky and distictly Japanese concept behind the line.

HEaring about the movie helped me get back into it. I had taken a break for awhile (no money, no time).

I started getting some money in and was getting back into TF's, re-reading history and then I stumbled upon the movie site, and that just pushed me over the edge for being obsessed again.
