Here is my reasoning.

We saw the Allspark create quite a few new tf's and all of them were evil from the get go. The phone, the steering wheel, the vending machine, all starting attacking viciously.

Not once did we see a 'good' tf in this lot.

So we can assume all tf's are created with this mentality. Which would mean the Allspark created the Decepticons and it is the Autobots, with their peaceful nature, that rebelled against their programming and their creator, meaning the bots are the ones who are fighting against what the tf race stands for. At least in this continuity.

From the Allspark's point of view, the Autobots are the evil ones, preventing the transformers from ruling.

Or the Transformer created by the allspark could acting on instinct only, like and animal and with no true programming other than the life and the instinct that comes with being alive. So while the allspark is not evil it nor is it completely good, the allspark seams more like a source of power that can be used either way, so by my reasoning the autobots are not traiters the cons are, Starcsream even calls themselves decepticons when he signaling them to move out more like they have embrace their origins as traitors to a peaceful civilization.

All Earth technology was reverse engineered from Megatron.

The Allspark could detect this, and created evil drones. That coupled with the fact that they had no real programming in their brains...and well...you get the idea.

If you paid attention to the thin plot you would have noticed this. Sector 7 told us during the film that all of earths current technology was reversed engineered from Megatron, and since he is evil then once the allspark gives life to our technology then it will inevitably be evil as well.

The Xbox 360 didn't really attack anyone, though. It was more or less just trying to get out of the box.

Here's how I saw it:

1. Cell phone: I'm trapped in a box! Let me out!!
2. Mountain Dew machine: *chaos going on all around* What's going on? What are these things? Aaaaahhh!
3. Cadillac Escalade: What is this thing inside of me!? Get it out!! (insert "that's what she said!!1 ololol" joke here)
4. Xbox 360: I am trapped in a box! Must escape!!

Didn't the writers say that the reason all of the Earth created TFs were evil was because they were all reversed enginered from Megatron?

Yes, the Autobots are evil. That's why they want peace and freedom for all beings in the galaxy.

Whereas the noble Decepticons have catchphrases like "To Punish and Enslave" and "Peace through Tyranny." And promote killing and suffering.

Or maybe the humans just didn't know how to use allspark properly? maybe it has instructions printed on it in cybertronian, but humans couldn't read it.

The xbox as outside, being carried by some dude, i think you saw it after the MT Dew machine.

Ha, so that's what it was! I must've blinked and missed the 360 scene, when I saw the film it was just like WOWWWWWWWWWWW (so much action for my little eyes) I knew it'd be a blur of action, but you literally had to put toothpicks between your eyelids to stop yourself from blinking amd missing something because it all flew by

I also thought a bit about why all the new transformers coming from the Allspark were evil, and the explanations posited in this thread have definitely made it all make sense. Should've thought of it myself, but for some reason I've taken leave of common sense recently - I think it's because I've regressed a bit to being a 9 year old again having just bought the UE boxset too.

lol...ok it does move fast but it isnt shaky, and when it is it isnt accidental, as it is used to make a scene look faster and more dramatic, its best suited to car chases IMO, but it gives a sense of vibration to the scene. I never thought it was too shaky though, but then again im an action flick freak and i have the reflexes of a cat so im used to fast stuff.

I didn't notice Brawl's hand, but I did see BB's legs go. It was all moving to fast for me to take everything in. I was still in awe over the battle, I couldn't notice every tiny detail the first run out. That's what repeat showings are for.

It's Bay's poor storyline that's creating all this confusion.

No, its not. Get over it. Its called fast pacing and editing, something very important if you want to pull off an action scene. The storyline Bay had nothing to do with, as that falls on the shoulders of the writers.
