I was hoping to mostly get characters who scale better with each-other but I'm gonna start having to have multiple scales now with the budget cut Masterpieces, and the season 3 guys.

Considering I am getting the Powermaster Prime, I will have properly scaled Prime and Megs (though both are autobots) and thanks to Battle core Prime, I will have the voyager Prime to go with Galvatron. Rodders is the one issue with scale between the big guys, but that's about it. All my other guys are pretty good with each other, and my Lost Lighters are very in scale with one another (Getaway is a bit big, but still works).

Yeah if Hasbro doesn't release a voyager Rodimus Prime, I am tempted to design my own to get fabricated on Shapeways and just paint myself. Although MP Rodimus would probably be WAY less expensive than doing that.

I've used makerbot a lot (since my school's 3D printers are hooked up to it) and there are some neat things like a Soundwave turning into the TARDIS on here. Neat stuff and not bad looking done, just like those feet I made for the combiners back a few months ago

The thing is this though: everything that I printed was of a free design that was added to makerbot, so anyone could make these things for free! (so long as a 3D printer was available) which is very nice for so many. I have the big feet for Defensor, though with the shelf space he cannot use them in his current position

Yeah but it still would be amazingly awesome.

I still have my Armada Starscream project and Motormaster projects hanging... I need to get back to those soon.

The public library here in Omaha just opened a new branch strictly dedicated to art and design, called Do It Space. I need to go check it out. You can take courses on all kinds of design software, and they have 3D printers.
I have an idea to make spats for the CW HFG to give them ankle articulation. (kinda like yours Sill)
I'm just not sure how well a 3D printed ball joint will work.

That is awesome with that library Cobs! Over last summer, my school got those printers and I attended the workshop to see how they work, which was awesome. I have made so many accessories and other things for transformers and other things I love it.

And 3D printed ankles do not work very well. My feet originally had the ankle ball joints, but they could not support the weight of the combiner, so I had to glue them fixed flat. But they still look nice. and the 3rd party hands are also 3D printable as well! I did see them, but had no interest

He has Ball joints at both the waist and the knee, so he has some great articulation in the leg area!

OK, cool. The knees make for nice thigh swiv replacement. That's how Prime is articulated too. Sideswipe's knees are just a hinge, slight bummer.

I was very surprised and delighted to find him at TRU, and of all things, he was the regular $14.99 price! I have him in T-Rex mode right now and all those energon bits make an awesome huge chomping head!

I'm a big fan of translucent plastics as of late, and those "Energon" parts for these new RiD bots look great! Awesome find D-Max!

I've been kinda taking a break from Seib's forums for the most part for a few days, but I kinda wanted to post on here. Basically last night I was for the first time in a while, actually working on the Motormaster 2.0 design, when all f a sudden, our power fluctuated (stupid power) and my computer crashed because of it. Good thing this beauty didn't get messed up though, since it saved right before the fluctuation.

So that image is actually my latest progress. Last night I added a bit of articulation to his wrist/lower arm section. He kinda has a wrist swivel articulation point, except it's in the upper part of the lower arm to give a more uniform look. Still working on those arms, but they are better. Soon I'll get him into his vehicle-ish mode and add his vehicle details. Oh, also bonus early torso mode-ish configuration, and one of the ratcheted combiner feet that are included in the finished set. Obviously his torso mode isn't finished, and he doesn't even have a combiner head yet. Looks silly I know.

Anyhow how's everyone?
