The Ferris Bueller TV series or The Animal House TV series?

Postby Keeperofthespark » Wed May 07, 2008 9:55 pm

Which was worse?

Both sucked but Ferris Bueller wen't so far as to chop off Matthew Broderick's head witha chainsaw by the hands of Charlie Schlatter's "Ferris".

I actually feel bad for Schlatter, he had great potential as an A lister, B lister even. Now all he does is do voice overs for shows that aren't worth an A+ solid. On the plus sides we got Jennifer Anniston from the Ferris Buller TV series and if I'm not mistaken the Animal House series gave Michelle Pfeiffer to us.

Isn't it funny how something that sucks can also give way for something good and sometimes it's the other way around? These two are fine examples of both if you think about it.

Hmm, I never knew there was an animal house tv series but the ferris bueller tv show was really bad.

one problem was it came in much later than a show called "Parker Lewis can't lose", basically it was a ferris ripoff in a way with a somewhat similar formula but I thought it was pretty funny.

Parker Lewis only did a few seasons at best but it was better than the ferris bueller show.

Personally, my vote goes to Revenge of the Nerds even though it was just an unaired pilot. It had Robbie Rist (Cousin Oliver from The Brady Bunch) as Bugger. Awful.

Also, the Animal House series was called "Delta House". Animal house also inspired the creation of "Brothers and Sisters" and "Co-ed Fever". That's one for each network.

Well...Charlie Schlatter voiced Colonel Raikov in Metal Gear Solid 3...though I don't remember ever hearing Raikov speak. Image

When you're trying to knock him out he mumbles the usual suspicious guard stuff if you're not being careful enough. Nothing major, though, barely worth a credit at all, I'd say.
