That'll be because you've changed the dialogue.

thats my point, if you use a diferrent character the circumstances chance, you wouldnt expect to see springer being overtly emotional or concerned, as he's a sarcatic, wise cracking kinda bot, so it does matter that it was arcee.

Here, here! The last two threads on this ended up getting locked, and a member or two was permabanned. They started out as civil discussions, but when babies, Tf genitalia, gender and other sordid things got introduced, it got quickly out of hand. 20+ pages of circular arguements.

I think it can all be pinned on how the Transformers were created. It seems obvious that they were made to emulate the properties of humanoid beings, as a lot of their emotions, mannerisms, gestures and even instincts are based on what we know as human. Now, I don't mean that they were made to resemble earth humans (that doesn't add up chronologically), but their template is anthropomorphical. As such, some of them may carry the potential for the crazy sickness we call love.

It is possible whatever race created them based the Tfs' emotional abilities on themselves. They also might have used their extremely detailed knowlege of their own physiology as a base to create something alive. Not wanting to use trail and error, they studied themselves and determined 'This is what will make something alive, and have a working functional body. We will copy our physiology so we won't have to guess what will work and what won't. They will have our organ lookalikes so they will be able to eat, rest, see, think feel, and so on.' I imagine the Quintessions created the Tfs, and they either based the Tf physiology on themselves, or that of the alien species they were going to sell the Tfs to. They might have even made the Tfs be able to reproduce (if they reproduce) in the same manner as the alien buyers, to make them more "seller friendly" and not so "alien." Hence, males and females.

I agree. I just don't see the point to Arcee at all, outside of giving Arcee fans things to continuously complain about. No offense, honestly. So Arcee took a bullet for Spike.....but wouldn't any good soldier do something like that, especially if it meant the restoration of the way of life you are fighting for? So, judging from that piece of information, Arcee is notable for being a good soldier.....in a universe of characters that are all good soldiers. Guy brags about eating lollipops, he works in lollipops factory. I don't get Arcee, I never have, and at this point in my life, I never will. Arcee fans, go on with your bad selves, but man, I just do not get it.

I think you all look at this way too closely. Yes, the robots have personalities. That is why we like them. I love to analyze their personalities. As far as robot love is concerned then keep it in the old shows. I think females can be the downfall of even the most powerful TF. I prefer the series which does not have that conflict of emotion. It is ok that some of you do. That is what makes us human.
