I liked how BumbleBee kicked Barricades A**!
As a bumblebee fan i was very happy to see him step up and kick some A**. He took out barricade during there brawl. I got chills when that car chase part with bumblebeee and barricade took place. That was so cool, with the rock music playing and with barricade getting out runned by Bumble was the coolest thing to me. This movie is something speacial!

I was also dissapointed that Jazz dies, because I'm a big fan of Jazz in the G1 animated serie and it took 20 years he make a comeback and now he dies. DAMN !!!

I only got two little complaints with the movie and one is a techinical one that could easily be addressed in the next movie.
1)The fight scenes. Sometimes the fights were so fast and so up close it was really hard to see what was happening or to keep track of what was happening. Maybe in the next one maybe slow it down some(bullet time perhaps? Like they did with Ironhide in that one scene which was awesome!) and maybe show the fight not so close.
2.Jazz's Demise. Jazz demise was sick!(Getting torn in half is pretty sick!) I think there should have been more emotion from the other Autobots about his death. Especially from Optimus. Maybe there was emotion and I just couldn't tell or it wasn't shown.

Yeah, this sure is a viable complaint and worthy of its own topic.

If you didnt' go to see the movie pretending to be 10 years old again you have a problem. If you want to waste your time arguing about it, whatever... just do it drunk and don't pull any punches. Civility is for the sober and should not be welcome in these forums.

You shouldn't have needed a warning when you mad this topic as you did.
If you have issues about the film, then by all means voice your opinion.
Starting a thread with something stating that the movie shouldn't have been made at all is a plea that you want to be on the top of a lot of other posters' hate lists not mine, but a good number of them.

Okay, obviously you didn't read or comprehend what I was saying to begin with. I wasn't saying the movie shouldn't have been made, I was saying IN JEST (thats sarcasm for you) that the only way people would have been TRULY happy with the film is if it was never made. Because you can't please everyone. Bottomline.

Agreed!
Caracter from the Movie are cool. Cyclonus, Scourge, Ultra Magnus and somewhat Galvatron. BUT, not Hot Rod! You dont have to be from the g1 era to understand he SUCK!!!
I could tolerate Hot Rod. But, the problem is Hot Rod=Rodimus at some point. Rodimus=No Optimus!
I didn't hate Hot Rod. Didn't like him all that much but didn't hate him.
Well.....maybe I hated him a little bit, but not to the point.....hmmm. Yeah, he should just die.
Or they could make him a "no-personnality" cannon fodder!
you mean "Movie Decepticon Syndrome"?
Yeah, my thoughts exactly.
He deserves better than that - I grew up with the G2 comic as well as G2, so I loved him from that.

Just so you know, I am completely not one of the posters in the movie forum who can't except others opinions and suggestions, I was just stating how those people do exist rather we like it or not.

I found the main problem to be the people
The film was OK, not great. My major problem with the film was the over use of the human perspective.
It's the same in Alien vs Preditor, the film is all shot from the Humans point of view.
In the books you learn about the rich society of the Preditor, how they live and breath honour. The hunt is used for mating rights. How nobody messes with an Alien queen, they use a dozen of more the most veteran warriors all tooled up. That they respect oomans in their own way, that one ooman is weak but as a group they can kick your arse.
In the film you learn nothing except they can work with humans in a stitch, and they have a breading program...big whoop.
I found the same to be true about the transformers movie.
I feel the movie would have had a better edge had it been filmed from the alien robotic point of view looking at the human world. Rather than the Human world looking out at the attacking robots.
I don't need to see the love interest of two horny teenagers from a human point of view. It might, I say might, have made it more interesting, and palletable, looking at the courtship from the other side.
I think the love interest could have been dropped, it overused in films anyway.
Taking the film in the way they did you lose a valuable means to explore and expand the inner workings of the transformers society and interpersonal relationships.
I feel this would have made the film much more interesting.
What do you think?

That may be the most thoughtout and best constructed arguement I've ever heard.
You changed my mind, your right the movie wan't just OK, it was great.
Come on, try to be contructive in your arguement.
Why was it great? Anybody can post a comment or flame, reasoned arguement takes thought.
I feel my comments are valid at least, even if you disagree.
But if you disagree, why do you disagree?

Both movies you reference take place on earth, the planet the oomans inhabit, why would it not take place from some semblence of our p.o.v. Also with the "love story" it plays into the "world disaster is happening" right in the middle of my everyday life aspect. Plus it bring in more people to the theaters(couples, dates, etc.) You must always remember these 2 words "Mass Appeal"

It was too short and they need to add more deleted scenes and CGI scenes of Megatron and Starscream, specifically Some more scenes at the end of the movie where the big city battle takes place, its too much and too fast and got confusing what was going on at times, then I'd see where they were going. But I really think that expanding the movie with deleted scenes, or releasing an extrended version for DVD, similar toi the way LOTR did , or the way they are releasing the new Harry Potter DVDs. I want a longer Movie!!!

Yeah megan Fox was hot, but Sam "Spike" can find all sorts of Hotties to hang with, I'm also referencing the seibertron.com before Carly there was... Sam should be with a new love interest in every film, as "Da Man" come on its a boys film and toy line, with minimal girl support!!
