I have to admit i really don't like the pats much but you have to give them credit 16-0. No matter what anyone says thats not easy in any era. I would also like to congradulate the bears for beating the living snot out of greenbay and giving the cowboys homefield adv. through the playoffs. GO COWBOYS!!!

Re: **The Official 2007 NFL Thread**
Yes the Patriots went 16-0 but it is a "tainted" season whether they like it or not. Also the Patriots are definately beatable. I think in 4 out of the last 5 games (Miami was just practice) The patriots were either behind and had to fight back(to their credit) or it was to close for comfort at the end. They should have lost the Raven's game but the football gods were on their side.
I just want San Diego to make it back to New England and get sweet revenge now that they are playing like they should've been playing all along.

I just have to say this....
THE RAVENS WON A GAME!
It took a while, and losing to Miami, but we beat the Steelers!
It was close, but I don't care 'cause we won.

Yeah, that was an embarrassing game by the Steelers. I know that they had a lot of starters out, but geez. They've played like absolute crap for the last six games. They're going to get rolled out of the playoffs.
Oh. And still screw the Patriots!

Home field avantage is what it used to be. With the way the Cowboys have played the last few weeks, including the first have of the Washington game, I would worry about what they will do in the postseason. If they end up playing the Packers in the Championship game they may have their hands full.

Sunday was a very depressing day for me football wise.
I wish the Colts would have beaten the Titans.
But no, when I'm actually rooting for the Colts, when I need the Colts to win, they freaking lose.
The Cleveland Curse strikes yet again and my beloved Browns won't be going to the Playoffs.
Hell of a season though. 10-6.
And still, no one gives them any credit.
We are tied with the Steelers.
We're 8th in the league in Points and Yards.
28 sacks for the season
Derek Anderson has 29 TDs and 3,787 Yards and a QB rating of 82.5.
All around we had a great year and all anyone can talk about is Tom Brady and Brett Farve.
Hopefully next year we can come back just as strong and hopefully Jamal will stick around another year.
He was a big part of the Browns this year.

I will give Cleveland all the credit in the world. They look like a good, young Up-and-coming team. They will make the playoffs next year. To be honest, if there was a team other than the Bears that I'd root for it'd be the Browns...how one group of fans can suffer for so long just amazes me....oh...wait...I'm a Cubs fan...
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

And Black Monday commences. The GM in Miami is out...I'll put money Cam Cameron is next. Marv Levy steps aside in Buffalo. Brian Billick is canned in B'More. I'll also wager Andy Reid gets the axe in Philly...which is a good thing; he needs to focus on his family for a while I think.

Hmmm...how much? I as a Dolfan can't wait for him to go, and I also hope Jason Taylor stays, though he might retire soon anyway. The guy's a great player, and he just wants to win. Too bad he never got a chance. That's the only bad thing about being a Dolphin.

The cowboys need to pick it up a notch. They need to heal up and get ready for the playoffs. Hopefully the bad games are behind them. I think they'll be allright though.

I agree...indy is going to beat NE. Indy is healthy and young. NE is healthy and old. Both have good coaching with the edge to New England's "camera-influenced" adjustments. QB wise, edge goes to Manning...his head is jjust made for the game. Running game goes to Indy, O line to NE. D line to Indy, LB to NE (but they are old and tiring and it shows the last few games), backfield to Indy. WR are a draw: Moss, Stallworth, Welker vs. Harrison, Wayne, and Gonzalez is going to be a great matchup to watch. Edge goes to Indy. Win goes to Indy.

colts v pats.....id have to say pats. they beat them before, and the'll beat them again. and before you indy fans start pumping out the exscuses, the pats will have less pressure on them (if you can beleive that...) since they already won a perfect regular season, they can revamp and restratigize for the post season.
what do you have against the pats??? if they supposidly "should have" won, they would have won. the pats where abel to turn the game in there favor because they played a better game. theres no other explination

Evidently you didn't see the Ravens/Pats game when the Pats were awarded a touchdown that was nowhere close to being complete.
The receiver was bobbling the ball the entire time and didn't have any sort of handle on the ball until he was at least 10 feet out of the endzone on the other side.
Bad officiating is how the Pats win some games they should have lost.

The first time they played the Colts were without almost a dozen starters lost to injury and the Pats just barely beat them. That made a huge difference. With everyone back and healthy, they will be much harder to beat.

Re: **The Official 2007 NFL Thread**
I think San Diego will do better than Fender predicted at least through the first round. San Diego has momentum on its side and hopefully they can do more with it this year than they did with last. Titans played a little dirty last time and we managed to come out on top. Young is banged up from what I hear and the Chargers have a little grudge.
Hopefully the little rain we get this weekend will work for us this year and not against us like last year.
We've also beat indy the last 3 years in regular season so we can do good against them. Their kicker won't miss a field goal like he did last time but hopefully it won't that close in the end.
I would love to see us make it to New England and stop their home winning streak just like we did 2 years ago and knock them out and get a little retribution for the game early on theis season.
Fingers are crossed that the right San Diego team shows up in the playoffs.
