Lately, we at the news staff have been bombarded with reports from all over of people finding certain movie toys available at retail.

Instead of posting a thread for each purchase, I thought we could post everything in here to make less clutter.

So, have you seen some of the Movie figures being put on shelves early? If you have, or if you've bought some yourself, post your sightings and/or photos w./receipts here! Remember, the protoforms of Optimus Prime and Starscream have officially been on shelves since May 2nd, so they don't count.

As of 5/12, they are officially NOT anywhere in north Alabama yet. I spent all day yesterday driving around, and no dice.

I do believe the Leader Prime is the only Leader sized toy - and the only mainline version of Prime - to be released on June 2nd.

From what I can gather, Voyager Prime and Leader Megs will be released later on in the summer.

And still no movie toys on my end of Eastern Canada.

Now, according to the in-package catalog/poster (included with the Protoforms at Wal-Mart) Megatron in the Leader Class is also supposed to be out June 2nd. Yet, we've seen nothing to confirm otherwise, and that poster could just be a misprint, or the list could be. Either way...figure-wise we're getting a small list. There's also FABs and Legends figures, but we've already seen 'em all.

EDIT: Boscov's Department Store in Butler PA has the movie deluxes for sale. Jazz is one of the confirmed figures, the woman had it in hand and described it to me.

Here is a sighting cluster F***. Went to Kmart today with my wife, and they had it all. The Prime mask, cyber stompers Bumblebee and Prime, FABs', and a plush G1 prime and a bumblebee one. I go to the check out and when the girl rings one of the FABs' up there is a problem. She then calls another lady over to overide the sale and the lady said, "I can't overide that, I don't want to lose my job". So the girl explains to me that she is not permitted to sell them to me. I asked to speak to the store manager, and he said if he sold them to me the store would be fined.? That they are not to be released until june. (I thought they lifted the release date???) But I explained to him that I pulled them off the shelf, and that there were more on the shelf, why can't I buy them? WTF!

Sorry but can someone explain that to me! They had a crapload of them on the shelves, and can't sell them?! After the whole conversation with the manager, I told him he was a pompous ass. He kept rambling about a fine, if he sold them they would be in the computer system. aren't they scanned before being placed on the shelves, hence already being in the system?

You're both right.

He can't sell them without jeopardizing his job, and you should be able to buy them because they're out on the shelves. In fact, I saw a woman stocking them at a local store near me and she scanned them in, and they were authorized for sale, right then, right there.

I found and purchased Deluxe Brawl and Scorpanok on Saturday at a Chicago Target. There were only one of each and they were the only movie merchandise on display besides a handful of protoform figures. Went to a Toys R Us and a different Target but found nothing but protoforms at either.

A whole bunch of wave 1 deluxes were spotted in the Toys R Us in Champlain Place in Moncton/Dieppe NB, also saw the plushies there which are really cute.

I went to Kmart in Lansing, MI last night and they had 2 Optimus Prime voice changing helmets and 2x of the Cyber Stompin' Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.

I bought both of the voice changing helmets. The cashier could not get the UPC to scan so she picked up a $10 cooler from the display across from the checkout, rang it up twice and told me sorry for having to wait.

They were priced wrong at $13.99 but $10.00 each is even better

On Monday I bought Deluxe Bumblebee, Wreckage, Scorponok and Barricade from the Okemos, MI Target.
