I'm about to start with my shipyard so I can start building solar satellites, I keep having power issues that conventional land based energy production just can't keep up with apparently.

yeah, i keep ending up with no power. It certainly is a pain how long it takes to earn points. Im just about to build my first light ships though. Might get better now

Make sure you level up your solar plant loads. It's very important for mining.

try and level most things even with solar plants about 1 lvl above the rest, thats what i do

I'm not gonna be near a computer for the next three days. So I'm levelling my mines and solar plant to the max, so that it can just churn out resources while I'm away.

Not that important. I always level up the mines first, because they are cheaper to upgrade, and even if the energy is down, the mines continue to work with minimally reduced capacity (and they produce more resorce than the earlier level). I'm on -44/424 Energy, now building the solar plant to catch up.

Update!

Level 53 in uni 33, level 24 in uni 20.

In uni 33, laser tech research is level 3- that much closer to battlecruiser standard.


I hate the wait for resources to come in. I think my mines are all about lvl 8...

Log out and log in again. It should be available then.
