Yeah, I think you're just wasting your air force there Pysch. Build a second HF and another LF or two and you should be fine.

uni 20 is striding along fine. Uni 33 has seen the creation of my first defensive ion cannon.


Universe 37 sees my defenses boosted from 5 RLs to 9. Tomorrow I finish laser research and build 5ish light lasers as support.


Almost finished heavy cargo research. Raids are gonna be sweeeeet.


I wish more people would throw themselves against my shields. I wanna have a moon :sad:

Why won't anyone attack me in U20? My main planet has a small shield, 7 Heavy Lasers, 30 Light Lasers, 20 Rocket Launchers, 5 Light fighters, 1 Heavy Fighter, and 5 Small Cargos. My colony has 10 Rocket Launchers. In U37 I have 20 Rocket Launchers.

Slay3r from my solar system sent me a message to send an attack on another planet together "because he wants to crush the planets defenses"... I'll bombard Slay3rs planet to dust earlier. He raided me a few times before I could pull up some defenses.

Throw a huge fleet at them, but recall it just before it arrives, then do it again and again. With any luck they will get so pissed off that they will mount and assault on you allwing you to harvest the ships they leave behind on your atmosphere.
Just be sure you are roughly the same level and that you are willing to risk the odd kicking.

Chaos- Rape him. Rape his planet till it's broke. It looks more like a trap to draw away your fleet than a short alliance. And he's showing signs of weakness by asking for help.


I'm gonna start stockpiling LFs. I needz me an armada so I canz start shitting on the neighbours' lawns.

I didn't build any ships because I was building up defense and doing research I have the research to build light fighters and small cargo ships but not the resources at the moment but I should by the morning if you want me to attack him, he has done it to me.

edit: who does he want you to attack maybe we can work with them to attack him instead

At the moment, I don't have any fleet, only 2 light fighters, and a solid defense around my planet. I've built infrastructure till now, and on the edge of building a Colonization ship - then I'll start building the Baator Empire.

Oh, and I now have the tech (in U20) to build Recyclers, so this is an even better plan than it first seemed! :twisted:

Any advice on raiding? I have a few light fighters and a small cargo, but it will be my first time. I have been focusing on building, although I have five defensive emplacements. I don't want to go after anyone defensless or with heavy defense, but I don't know the mechanics of the combat system yet.

Look for inactive neighbours. Chances are they're still producing materials but aren't bothering to build defenses. I also find it handy to check their rank against yours. You know what you've built so if they're lower than you they'll have built less.

Spend the day raiding, spend the night sleeping (I know, strange concept to you sprokitz :P ) and your own mining work going on, then in the morning research/build/upgrade as much as you can and repeat the days process.

Espionage probes are your friend. In uni 20 lost my first raid or two by attacking blindly, now I probe people and look for people I know I'll make a profit on.

Also, if you send more than one probe at the same time (as a fleet) you can gain more information. Sometimes you just get some information with one probe, but if you send more that one you can get more information.

When I was sending one probe at a time I was getting alot of info sometimes and just some info others. Then I started firing off 4 probes in the same fleet and whamo lots more info on the ones that were only giving me partial information. Also, if you probe from the galaxy screen and want to send more than one probe. Look in your options for the "Number of Espionage Probes" option it will change how many probes you shoot off (haha) when you click on the espionage link in the galaxy screen.

I lost both light fighters in the attack. I'm glad I kept my cargo ship back! I'll build espionage probes before next time.
