Prowl, Bumblebee and Sari get more than they bargained for when they head out to the remote woods to investigate a mysterious energy signal.

Read the title and description. Do you think our favourite buzzy little pal will be reunited with us? I hope he isn't too different. I will send letter bombs to hasbro if they make him a troubled rapper or something.
I wonder if they will make a toy..
Thoughts please!

I've actully never liked Waspinator. I like watching him exsplode but that's it. I prefer him more as Thrust.

Waspinator was always hilarious exploding in so many different ways, always felt bad for the poor little guy though.

Hope they get Scott McNeil to voice him though or he just won't be the same.

At the moment, Waspy is just a rumor. We'll have to wait and see who else from the Beast Era besides Blackarachnia wil have an animated counterpart.

And tomorrow is the Dinobots' return. We'll see him, Grimlock again, as well as him, snarl and him, Swoop. :D :D :D

I wander if Snarl and Swoop will talk this time. I really like Swoop's robot mode and Grimlock's but hate the personalitys. I don't think the G1 personalitys for these characters match their new cooler looking robot modes.

As for other beast erra characters... Wouldn't it be cool if Dinobot, Terrorsaur, and Triceradon (Or whatever his name is that's a Predacon in the Japanise series) became Decepticon counterparts for the Autobot dinos?

Or how about if later in the series Prowl's obsession with Organics leads him to upgadeing himself into a Maximal.

Meltdown's back and leading the Dinobots! YES!

Beast Wars reference: the sub Fanzone was in reminds me of the one Rattrap was in.

Pretenders/Masterforce reference: the mutated shark and bat humans strikingly resemble Bomb-burst/Blood and Submarauder/Gilmer.

And all three Dinobot transformed! YES! But only Grimlock spoke. Oh, well. Snarl and Grimlock have the same fire swords and Swoop has a fire flail! Oh, yeah!!! :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE:

So now Meltdown has taken my idea. Human Transformers, and inslaved the Dinobots for a while. It's kinda scarry how much I have in common with him.

Slag and Swoop still did not talk and they all transformed but again only at the END of the episode. I really hope that's not going to be a continuas trend. We'll just not fight in beast mode and use are robot modes at the last possible moment and never show the audience what our robot modes can do. We know they have flaming weapons but we have not seen them ever fight in robot mode. Even though they did fight in robot mode at the end of this episode the fight was not shown, insted an exsplosion was seen on the island and in the wrong place.

It was seen in the previous episode and in that episode that they were on the inside of the "circle" where the hologram was being projected. But that exsplosion of something caused by the Dinobots happened outside the circle on the beach rather than inside where they actully were. Maybe the exsplosion really had nothing to do with Dinobots and was just some bomb that went off but then why did no one mention a bomb?

Although I didn't think the other robot modes woud show up in this episode. That was a surprise for me.

What's also a surprise to me is this. At this moment I'm watching Just Jordan. Its Jordan's 16th birthday, he get him drivers license, and his grandpa give him a car for his birthday. And the car looks just likes Bumblebee's first body's vehicle mode from the movie. What a day.

But remember when the deactivate the field, the dinobots are no longer in the center of the island. When they are searching for them, they are up above scouring the actual island. Which is where the base was located as well.

And I think everything has a keyhole as it's kind of a maintenance plug. Like how most TV's have a dataport that you can plug into and see what is wrong and reset stuff. This is probably just a future version of that technology. Probably used to set water levels, pressure, water consumption etc.

This was a good episode, not as good as last weeks but still good all I would of asked for was more action with the dinobots. Meltdown is becoming my favourite or atleast the only human (or whatever he is now) villian I like. Hopefully headmaster will be tolerable unlike professor princess, well he better be he's got an entire episode to himself and I wonder if megatron has anything to do with headmasters powers like with nanosec. I also like the dinobots more and more every time I see them.

OMG i just love the dinobots.. i know that they only showed their robot modes for like a minute but when they did they were so freaking brutal and mean and straight to the point. meltdown didn't bother me that much, but who cares about him, we got the dinobots back :)

This episode was the ****, and very awesome I may add.

One thing I want to comment on is WHEN ARE WE GETTING MEGATRON?!?!

This incarnation of him surpasses G1, simply because he is so friggin awesome.

The best villans are always the mysterious, creepy, cool, laid back, send shivers up your spine ones.

In Lost and Found when he appeared as the Allspark's hologram, I was like "HOLY ****!HE FINALLY HAS HIS BODY!...But how can that be?" as the reality sank in that he was a hologram.

It would make sense to be Megatron Rising...but I dunno. For some reason something's telling me he won't get his body in it...

No, they were down in the center of the island where the field was originally projected. Not the entire time but durring the exsplosion they were. As for the actual base location that just seemed to be under the island so for all we know the base could have streched out farther than what we saw.

I'll take some screen shots and post visual adds, maybe I'm not exsplaining properly what I'm talking about.

-=Edit=-

Image

OK here's the island, I highlighted the key areas. Red being the exsplosion sight. The blue circle is the "Ring" I was talking about and not sure where on that ring exactly but that's were the Holographic emmiter was. The yellow arra is where they continued onto after picking up the emmiter. They were shown comming from the direction of the boat and then crossing over that ring to search for the Dinobots. Bulkhead was injured somewhere in that yellow area and that's where they were when the exsplosion happened.

In order for them to have ended up where the exsplosion was located that would mean after picking up the emmiter they headed back the way they came and then went NW from the boat's location either that or Bulkhead's injured body was moved while the others were under ground. They weren't shown turning around and heading in that direction, they were shown continuing into the yellow area so Bulkhead's body must have been moved.

ok now while everyone else is bussy trying to look for animataion mistakes i was actually thinking of a theory.
we all know that ring area was where the dinobots were at the beginning of the story but since we haven't seen the entire fight it's possible that the dinobots chased the pretender away from the ring, and where we saw the explosions was were they caught the pretenders and blew them to pieces.

Since we who are "haters" can't have our own thread anymore, I guess I have to continue listing my gripes here.

I tried to watch this weeks episode without changing the channel to something more... boring. This was my third attempt to give this show a chance. This time I sat through the whole episode. My verdict remains the same...

Boring.

I'm still unimpressed. The voice characterizations for our "heroes" are (to me) uninspiring. I now wish that they'd just left the TFs alone.

I can't wait to see what Hasbro has in store for G.I. Joe when they decide to do another animated show for that property. I'm wondering... Are they gonna cheeseball it up like TF Animated too? Boy... I can't wait.
Spectacular Spider-man is a better written, better animated show and has a better theme song... Hands down!

I found a couple of interviews with the director and producer of transformers animated on ign.com this was before the show was launched but it might answer some of the question people have had: http://tv.ign.com/articles/804/804860p1.html.

So um... this topic isn't verry "Official" anymore. Seeing as how there are other topics related to to the series. Does this mean we don't have to keep the disscussion limited to a single topic anymore?

This topic is pretty much just to discuss your thoughts on the show as a whole and the individual episode topics are to discuss that specific episode.

That's not what I was told by one of the mods. I had a TF:A topic started a while ago that was locked and they gave me a link sending me here will a message saying ALL TF:A disscussions were to be held here. The ruel has appearently sence been abolished.

Anyway...

Anyone have any idea why Meltdown did a sudden dance break wile saying "Booka looka looka looge" in the middle of his villainous speech? That was rather random and pointless. I think he might be just a little bit insain.

Insane? No. Crazy? Yes. He's definitely crazy, but not insane. He still has sanity, he's not like... (let's see, who has absolutely no sanity whatsoever? Um... oh yeah, I know who!)... Carnage! Carnage is most definitely insane. He has lost all reason and logic and has become a completely mad psycho. Meltdown, on the other hand, hasm't quite reached that point yet. He has plans and some strategies, he's not just a guy who randomly kills for fun. He's sane, but crazy as crazy can be.

I was just looking at the episode list and coldn't help but notice the next episode listed on CartoonNetwork is "Headmaster" then nothing, it stops there? Please tell me we're not getting a bunch of re runs after that.

I don't exspect there to be any of that ReRun buisness till between seasons, most likely after "Megatron Riseing Part 1" and before Part two of the same title. In other words, leave us with a cliffhanger at the end of the season and make us wait a month or more later to see how it ends.

Mad, crazy, same diff. He's both of those, but not insane. "Insane" is both of those minus all reasoning and good judgement.

And we'll finally get to see "Za Heddomasutaa" in the next episode. Yeesss!
