So to simply upgrade him for a new model (that isn't official) confuses me. Mine still sits, leading the other Decepties lookin like a Megatron should. Only way he gets the boot is if a proper one comes along.
And especially for the prices these things command.

Ignore the official one.

Then I'd sell the 3rd party and get the official.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Not at all my dear Denshy. The official will almost always be my representative on my shelves. And it might sound silly, but that even goes if it's inferior to a 3P.Ironhidensh wrote:Well, you will probally disagree, but official is no longer the best.shajaki wrote:I gotta say, I'm surprised anyone would buy a 3P MP Megatron after already owning Apollyon. I seek the best representation of a character in my collection, and right now it's despotron.

Whoa, whoa! Pump the breaks there Joey P! There is an Asian market re-release coming very soon. Check it out!joeprime276 wrote:Also, since we're on the MP discussion, I have a question. I've been REALLY wanting Soundwave but he just cost so dang much. Does $230 shipped sound reasonable to you guys? Is he worth that price?

joeprime276 wrote:Also, do you guys know a good place to get MP starscream? Of what a good price for him is?
Sorry for asking over on here on your thread Ironhidensh. I just know that the guys who post on here know there sh** when it comes to MP figures
Starscream Sunstorm (the version I have) is a lot more complex, and is what you'd normally expect from an MP, but it kinda gets annoying at some points (plus, those stupid back wings that pop off if you so much as look at him funny). Shockwave is a lot less complex, and I would say that he's more fun.joeprime276 wrote:Hey Ironhidensh, after getting Mp Shockwave what are your thoughts? I'm stuck on whether to go with him or Starscream next so I'd love to hear your thoughts!

To add my two cents, I like MP Shockwave. He's fun, looks great in both modes. I never had the G1 so I can't compare, but looking at him as he is he's really awesome.Ironhidensh wrote:Take this with a grain of salt, as I tend to be a bit of an elitist, but Shockwave doesn't live up to the MP name. He just doesn't seem like that much of an update from the original toy. Not to say its bad, just not quite worth the money. He is kinda fun.joeprime276 wrote:Hey Ironhidensh, after getting Mp Shockwave what are your thoughts? I'm stuck on whether to go with him or Starscream next so I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Starscream (mp-11 mold) however, is a true work of art. Go for it!
