Yeah, no doubt. Funds are a little low and I would love to have built up my stormies and rebel troops.

Why would Target be clearencing out those battle packs? It seems a little too soon?

That's true, but it seems liek Target resorts to clearance a lot sooner than most retail stores.

Weren't there 2 or 3 more battlepacks on their way? Maybe they're coming in soon.

There is another Target exclusive Battle Pack coming but it won't be out till July/August

I can only assume there making room for the Transformer Movie Merchandise

I'll have to check out Target soon. I haven't gotten the Tantive IV BP yet. I saw Wave 2 of this year's figures a few weeks back at a Target, but haven't seen them anywhere else since then. I should just break down and buy them at Target instead of trying to use my discount at Walmarts.

I found out that our toy department manager won't clearance all the shitloads of TSC figures we have in our store because they're no deleted from the system yet. Meaning Walmart DCs must still have figures to ship out...

I snagged a bunch of POTF2 stuff on ebay recently. Still waiting for most of it to show up, but here's a breakdown as close as I can remember:

Snowspeeder (electronic)
Hoth playset
Endor playset
Snowtrooper with cannon
Rebel with radar dish cannon thingy
Probot
Luke in Hoth gear
Rebel Trooper in Hoth gear
Dewback and Sandtrooper
Crowd control Stormtrooper
Jabba's Sail Barge crew (whatever it's called, a cinema scene)

And some vintage stuff:
Imperial Troop Transporter (talking)
Speeder Bikes (five total, some missing parts)

I used to have one of those Troop Transporters, but it didn't work... until I took it apart and fixed it. It has a mini record inside to make the sounds! The one I bid on also doesn't work, but I'm hoping to be able to fix that one too. It's not that complicated inside.

Damn, that's a hell of a haul.

All of the stores around me are the same. Most got an initial shipment of wave 1 TAC, then nothing but new shipments of mixed waves of TSC after that. One of the walmarts here is still LOADED with poopy Greatest Battles TSC. I have only seen one McStormmie and zero wave 2 TAC.

I did however see the new wave of star wars transformers. The Gun Ship is unfortunately disappointing, Mace Windu is same ol same ol, and the Sassae Tin is spectacular. IMO the best of the line, even better than Maul.

I forgot to mention the Expanded Universe Airspeeder, which I picked up from the post office this morning. I never got this vehicle back in '97. What a great little ship! I think it would go great with an Episode 3 Clone, like a precursor vehicle. If only there was a way to buy sets of Republic, Rebel, and Imperial symbols in the same way that ReproLabels makes all those Transformers labels.

I picked up the Order 66 Sam Jackson/Galactic Marine battlepack yesterday. They had crap load of others. Mostly just repaints of other figures, although I kinda want to get the repaint of the Anakin/501st trooper.

my store got in the 30th anniversary figures and i got the Star Wars Ralph McQuarrie Signature Series Concept Stormtrooper and Concept Boba Fett........ they are sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet but i'm keeping them in MISB they are in pristine condition

I went out to a Walmart nowhere near me to visit a co-worker who transferred there... I found & bought Han Solo (Falcon gunner), the Sith Infiltrator, and the V-Wing. Haven't opened Han yet, but there's not much to say about yet another Han Solo figure, except that he has a bit less articulation than the VOTC sculpt that he's based on. And that makes almost no sense...

The Sith Infiltrator is pretty cool. It fires two missles and two probe droids, haha. I stuck the probe droids on the wing launchers instead of inside the opening front end. I just like the look of the front end opening up and all these BFGs being right there. I haven't tried to seat any of my Darth Maul figures in it just yet, but I'm sure the Sith Speeder rider figure will be fine. Him being the one shown on the package, and getting released later this year anyway. The wings stay closed and pop open nicely. The cockpit inside is incredibly detailed, all kinds of buttons and screens and textures. The only thing I dislike about this vehicle is the landing gear. It's always stuck to the bottom of the ship, though they can be rotated around and up & down a bit. I just swing them towards the back of the ship for a decent flying mode. The scale doesn't bother me too much since it's in scale with itself on the outside. Hasbro did a fine job with this, minus the landing gear.

The V-Wing... holy Moses, I think I might actually buy two more of them. There's lots of little parts in the package (all those wing panels). It's not hard to put them in the right places, just reference the package. The whole ship seems very sturdy, you just have to be careful with the wings. I found it funny / interesting that the part of the ship that the nosecone attaches to is actually detailed... you'll never see it again once you snap the nosecone in place. Just an interesting touch. The colors and paint apps are excellent, and the overall look of this ship gives you the impression that it was a predecessor to the X-Wing Fighter. (This and the ARC-170.) One thing the instructions left out was that the round sides of the ship that hold the wings move in and out. You have to put them in to make the rear thruster open up the wings again... I can't believe Hasbro left that out of the instructions. I thought mine was broken at first.

No stickers for either vehicle, thankfully, though cockpit screens would have been nice. The V-Wing's cockpit has quite a few paint apps inside. I managed to fit a POTF2 Crowd Control Stormtrooper inside both the V-Wing and Infiltrator.
