The TF you want but you know HasTak will NEVER make
Re: The TF you want but you know HasTak will NEVER make... ;_;
It does. But yes, the crummy obscurity of this Prime is exactly why I kinda wish Botcon or something similar had gone crazy and turned some random mold into the guy. Would have been neat.
Also, in the category of 'will never make' I'd say a Clench (aka Colossus) remake. Don't know why I like Clench but I've always been a sucker for late G1 and G2 designs. Again, repeating myself but these things are right up my alley given that these (and or rather knockoffs of) were the only vehicle Transformers of my childhood.

Funnily I did a digibash of a G2 Prime repaint, he looks dynamite in the deco.

Ironic considering the preliminary design for Funpub Clench was Uni' Tankor

Masterpiece Thunderclash anyone?

Or even a Generations update in Leader class, WITH the base mode fully functional. Imagine this, the truck would be "big deluxe" sized like the PotP evolutions leader. The trailer, instead of combining would have the big-ass base mode WITH the rapid fire action the original toy had. Bigger missiles, and no gold plastics this time around.
And once again, they could re-release it repainted as Optimus Prime.

A version of Sixshot where there's more attention paid to the 'six' part of the name. Six wheels in truck mode (fairly easy given a number of 3P truck modes already have the front wheels halfway down the body - just add a new front pair. Or have dual rear axles like the Japanese animation model); six flight control surfaces (simple enough to add a vertical stabilizer to each main wing in the jet mode); maybe give the tank mode six AA missiles instead of the same barrels as the gun mode. Or, if the gun mode is going to be scrapped permanently on future versions, keep the barrels for the tank mode and make the "submarine" mode have, I dunno, six torpedo bays?
The puma mode already has six limbs; the wings could have added claws or something to more closely match the puma feet. The robot mode could have something like Overlord's Chokon Bolt Masher, split into two strips of three and placed vertically each side of the chest hatch. (Or have the chest hatch flip over and have the six-missile detail sculpted on the other side.)
Just, y'know, enhancing the theme a little.

Beast Wars! I know Takara is doing Masterpiece but I Don't have that kind of money and wish that the current Hasbro tF team would realize that there are fans! (I grew up on G1 but am so sick of it at this point!)

I'd love to see a new Beast Wars line but....not actually as Beast Wars. What I mean by that is that, first off, Hasbro doesn't really do lines nowadays that aren't either 'primarily G1 Generations' lines or something which goes with their cartoons. Which are also heavily G1 inspired.
So the only way I could see a not!Beast Wars line is as a Generations line focusing on mechanical animals (since they don't really do organic beast modes unless it's a very deliberate retake of a Beast Wars character in an anniversary line!). Which part of me kind wish were halfway, design-wise, between G1-esque beast modes (like what we got with PotP Dinobot, Terrorcons and Predaking) with a dash of Transmetal 1. Now, of course, they would probably make G1-characters-as-beasts rather than make it a new cast. Now here is the part where it would work as a Beast Wars 2.0: assuming it to be a full Generations subline in this hypothetical scenario, they would probably get their mileage out of the molds by using them as a basis for both a re-imagining of a Beast Wars character which people actually care about (in other words, show characters) and they could retool/pretool them as Beast versions of G1 characters.
I mean, come on: you could make a red and white cyber rhino and call it 'Iron Hide' and then just recolor him and give him a new head and call him Rhinox. Same how you can make beast!seekers but add one called Terrorsaur. The perk in all this is that Beast War's main cast was so damn small that they remake all the major character while still have room to slip in some G1 names to keep their brand going on. Hell, they could just make a purple T-Rex Megatron and just call him 'Megatron' and mention nothing on the box about him being a different Megatron but fans would know that this is clearly not intended to be G1 Megatron.
Of course none of this will happen as long as Warden is around, as I imagine he allowed only some of the recent Beast Wars stuff very reluctantly.

This isn't so much a toy as it is a concept; I'd like them to revisit the original Universe concept of random repaints/retools of things. I don't know that there is much of a purpose to a dedicated line of repaints like that anymore, but it would allow them to reuse tooling and it could offer some options for new ideas or esoteric homages rather than slavish dedication to making G1 replicas seen in the CHUG lines.

That doesn't seem likely just yet given that Hasbro still is going strong with their shows and toylines, compared to that era before and around the Unicron trilogy where they just didn't really have anything going on after Beast Machine squirmed and died like a fish out of water. Don't get me wrong, I actually do quite like BM for all it's flaws but the toyline? It may have actually helped hasten me 'growing out' of Transformers due to how awful it was.
....except maybe one or two vehicon molds, I guess? Some weren't too bad.

A upated version of G2 Motormouth character. I'm not counting the blue Off Road Movie Ironhide from 2007 as a viable stand-in toy.(I despise how many automorph flaws they have
The idea would be a titans return mold with his head and pickup truck car door opens for titan master to sit in. For those who never owned him he was a G2 series mini Go-Bots figure(legends size) that is primarily blue with a vehicle hood chest and gains red head and red shins on his robot mode.
You can even see his robot mode on my avatar taken from his card artwork.

This seems to be part of what they plan to do with War for Cybertron, promising to reuse old molds. Likely they'll be giving a lot of familiar characters new Cybertronian alt modes using some molds that could pass as Cybertronian. They also said there would be no play theme in WfC and we can expect previous things like Headmasters and Combiners mixed into waves. I wouldn't be shocked to see some Technobots repainted. Maybe they'll give us a proper Jhiaxus deco of the Thrilling 30 mold, or better yet, a new Jhiaxus figure.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a retool of PotP Starscream as Jhiaxus. Retail Technobots could be something to sell alongside the Pretender Monsters as a good versus theme (seeing as that seems to be the gimmick of WFC)
Also, we need a new Lockdown figure. Like, an Aligned/IDW inspired one. As much as I love the ROTF figure, I want to have a muscle car mold with an interchangeable arm weapon that could then be remolded into some Axelerators or Turbomasters.

One of the reasons I didn't get into Transformrs as a kid is that I was put off by these allegedly-disguised robots turning into clearly-mechanical animals that weren't fooling anyone. As an adult, I've come to terms with it being one of those "this is how it is" things, but I've never been a fan of how most vehicle modes are meant to look like the real thing, but you can't have a beast mode unless it looks like the Power Rangers should be driving it. I know I'm a fool to even think this is possible, but I'd love some more beast modes that could pass for the real thing.

Well, passing a mechanical lifeform off as a car doesn't require fake skin and fur
To be honest, the "Robots in disguise" slogan pertained more to the Micro Change and Diaclone Car Robots lines than it truly bore out in the franchise during G1 (Soundwave was the only one to truly make use of his altmode as a disguise it felt like).
All the same, I wouldn't put passing-for-organic beast modes out of the question entirely. Beast Wars Masterpiece figures that do the sensible thing of using fabric & vinyl "skins" for some of the beast parts, yes. But passing-for-organic beast modes in general are still in the realm of possibility IMO.
As for me.. A lot of things fall into the never-say-never category, there's a chance they might be made however small. There are some things that won't be made but I don't really want anyway (Transforming screen-accurate AoE Galvatron comes to mind, because that's literally impossible).
But then, there's these guys. I want them because they amuse me, but I would be completely shocked if they were to ever be made either by HasTak or a 3rd party:

* Busby, the London bus
* Bozo, the Sinclair C5

Karmen and Toaster are similarly unlikely, but less so.

Re: The TF you want but you know HasTak will NEVER make... ;_;
While it doesn't really fit the 'G1 Cartoon' canon, I'd be rather curious to see someone do a take on the Sweeps where they are more individually fleshed out as a counterpart or successor to the Seeker body-type. However, the only time they really exist is within said G1 Cartoon Canon and its Japanese side/split continuity where they just seemingly....exist. Given we first see th Sweeps when Unicron remake dead/dying Decepticons I can only headcanon that, within the cartoon continuities (yes, plural), that Sweeps are things that Galvatron and/or Scourge can make more of. Somehow.
So, really, the idea of 'individual sweeps' wouldn't really exist without either 1) a new continuity or 2) individual G1 toon Sweeps developing more distinct personalities over time.
Edit: I forgot that Sweeps have appeared in comics. I was under the impression they hadn't because they don't show up in the Marvel comics. However, the various comic Sweeps are equally faceless and generic even with a varied origin. They just exist as generic grunts and/or extensions of Scourge.

Well considering they come from Insecticon Cloning Tech, how did individuality work with them? Were they mere copies of the base Insecticon's personality or were they more autonomous?

As you say, the details of how this all works were left very ..vague. Not as vague as Cyclonus' Armada, but the Sweeps were simply There for the most part. That's why taking the multiple palette swap errors from group-shot above and fleshing them out could give the Sweeps their own identity, much like Acidstorm, Sunstorm etc.

This might not be impossible with the street fighter cross over series being a thing and hasbro getting toy rights to these... a Mighty morphing Power rangers cross over series.
The figures wouldn't need to combine necessarily, so some examples I can think of:
Triceratop Zord = POTP Slag recolor
Mastodon Zord = Big Convoy
Terodactyl Zord = POTP Swoop or Beastwars terrorsaur
Trex Zord = Transmetal megatron or reluctantly POTP Grimlock
Sabre tooth tiger zord = kind of stuck on this one, maybe night slash cheetor from beast machines
Green Dragon Zord =Transmetal megatron or even transmetal 2 megatron (I know the wings do not go but it's just a nice figure that would look good in green and black)
white tiger zord = maybe six shot with a resculpted tiger head?
Titanus = Reluctantly POTP sludge

Yep and Genesis Climber Mospeada has no chance but at least I have wishful thinking of a legios and tread mode dark/dread combo
