Aren't that's what's happening now with the "true" Cyberverse Deluxe line? If only they'd release more of the ORIGINAL characters in this line like Rack-n-Ruin and Wildwheel. I'm fed up with Optimus, Megatron, Shockwave, and Bumblebee. ENOUGH ALREADY. There's plenty more characters, NEW characters in this show that deserves serious toys.

Sort of, but not entirely. Hot Rod is still in need of a better toy, Shockwave is only a marginal improvement over his ultra and warrior versions, Grimlock is actually about on par or even a bit weaker than his ultimate class self, and the rest are probably the best. But that is basically Megatron, Prime, Bee, and maybe Shockwave and Grimlock. 5 out of a large cast, there were far more deserving characters like Slipstream, Dead End, Whirl, Clobber, etc.

My main point was that in Cyberverse, it's always the same 5 characters who have all the toys. I need some originality.

I agree with all this, but right now our options are WFC (mostly G1 updates), Studio Series (the movie guys, which are mostly G1 alternate versions), and MP (G1 including some BW). At the moment, with characters like Wild Wheel, Meteorfire, and Clobber, Cyberverse is our best bet for getting new characters in toy form. Personally, I feel like if I ignore Cyberverse I'm not sending the message I want to the company about new and under-represented figures.

So a while ago, I think it was this thread, we discussed a GI Joe/Transformers crossover line. Wherein the Transformers actually took on the altmode of Joe & Cobra vehicles.

Cue the newest issue of the Part Work that covers GI Joe vs Transformers (via Devil's Due) and something like this was what I had in mind during that conversation. Granted, I never knew this series existed prior.

A GI-Joe Transformers Xover line would be so awesome.

It would be a freaking expensive line though. Because all bots would be leader or supreme class at the minimum so that a standard Joe figure (included) could ride in the vehicle.

Here's one after someone in the Earthrise thread mentionned 'what if Snapdragon's dino mode was retooled into a tank'. What about the reverse? His jet mode is retooled into a tank and the mold is used as Megastorm who is now a tank and a dinosaur! Pretty neat idea I had. Shame it would never happen.

I'd love to have the triple changing Shockwave from the game in any form, it doesn't have to be MPM, it could just be a Studio Series toy.

I'd love a new line that focuses on concept art characters that did not get toys. Would be pretty sweet to have that line filled with characters from many generations that is new and original

I'd like to see a CHUG line where all the 'mainstay' characters are either a pretool or new concept. What I mean is, the Megatron/Optimus/Starscream whatever all have alt modes which are different. While the line could take its chance to update more characters in Generations, any of the expected mandatory characters would be a new design or retooled from someone else to have a new altmode and allow them to get experimental. Like a police truck or SWAT van Prowl or a beast mode Hound that's actually a canid or even stranger stuff like a Helicopter Starscream as a pretool of Rotorstorm or whatever.

Just an excuse to still have those character on shelves but let the designer get crazy in a way we haven't seen since the days of late Unicron trilogy or Animated, like how Megatron was an helicopter and Optimus a fire engine. We need more of that stuff, damn it.

That's a good idea- reminds me of an idea I had for "Universe 3.0", which would have had a lot of older molds released as both mainstay and new characters all drastically reinterpreted, but this time with retooling too. So Energon Landmine with a new head as Optimus Prime, Energon Bulkhead with a new head as Megatron etc.

Also, New Rodimus as a retool from Inferno is something which would be neat to get at some point, especially since we are very likely getting an Inferno in Earthrise.
