I always found the concept and execution of the Skylinx toy to be stupid and ridiculous. This, coming from someone who makes customs like the ones in my sig!

However, I<m really, really curious how Skylynx can be modernised and be made awesome. This should be a Titan toy made out of two Leaders figures for starter. As for the rest....

I think a Leader made of two Voyagers would be more likely. No need to inflate his ego any more than that.

Ooops, I meant a SUPREME class toy made out of two Leaders. Based on the fact that the original G1 toy is quite big. Still, a Leader made out of two simple voyagers would not only be more likely, but more affordable too. It would scale with deluxes and other classic voyagers I guess.

i cant see them selling sky in one box, and lynx in another. id be happy with a simple voyager.

The way it look, obviously. It's more a "herp-a-derp" than a dragon. Also, selling Sky and Links separately make no sense. It's like selling each parts of Magmatron separately. While they can be toys on their own, their true purpose if to combine. That's wahy the Minicon Team was sold as a deluxe, all 3 minicons together.

Gimme a truly modernised Skylinx in a combopack and I may be buying... Heeeeeyyyyy...... Why not a MOVIVERSE Skylynx? Take a clue from RotF designs and engeneering. Make it so!

another thought. something that might make a new sky-lynx more likely, is that dinosaurs/dragons have crazy playability and kids love them.

I mentioned a Generations Sky-Lynx a few pages back. He would be what I would want most that will probably never be made "well". Two voyagers would work or just one leader, he wouldn't even have to split apart to satisfy me, just have him look like IDW Sky-Lynx.

I'd like some new toys based on stuff from the second and third seasons of Beast Wars. Like maybe a Generations Quickstrike.

I'd also like it if Combiner Wars had an update to at least one Non-G1 combiner (probably one of the RiD ones), but there's no way in hell.

Stiiiil, repaints of G1 figures don't really count. I know it don't follow the "scramble city" principle, but I'd really like an update to Magmatron. One with better engeneering and a robot mode for each individual dino parts.

Maybe for the 20th anniversary for beast wars...I would love a masterpiece take on Lio convoy, super poseable lion mode, super poseable robot mode.

Speaking of upsized Cyberverses, they did an incredible job with Predaking. So, please, at least a Chinese bootleg company must do a similar upscale with Cyberverse Commander Bombshell. Please.

Twinstrike and Windrazor would have to be retooled as they lost the combiner pegs, remember?

But they had holes instead of pegs so if Hungurr had pegs it could still work! I just love the cyberverse figures and the upsized versions hit a nice G1 vibe for me, personlly I'd like more like this not the "flip and switch" simple movie figures.

I would really love an updated generations/IDW style Tracks. The RTS one is alright but I would like a new one to be the 70's style corvette and Tracks have a slimmer torso and bigger missiles. Don't think they will make a new version anytime soon though.

what youre describing... sounds an awful lot like an MP tracks. which i bet we'll see in the near future, considering how theyre pumping out the G1 cars and getting corvette to sign on would be no issue.

I have been writing this everywhere but this is the best thread for it: a non partforming Omega Supreme!

I don't know how they could ever do it, but I would love to have an updated G1 Omega Supreme that actually transformed or had just minimal part forming. I am not a fan of the Energon Alt Mode, even though the G1 colour scheme applied to it's robot mode isn't all that bad (though I think far from worth the price he's curently going for).

And once again, voyager Dinobot would be phenomenal!

It could happen. They did eventually make Blurr for the animated line which was inspired by transtech cheetor and eventually was redcoed into transtech cheetor, so you never know. And Generations Deluxe Megatron is based on the cancelled G2 release. I hope something similar happens to Transtech Depthcharge.

I'll ask again why neither Hasbro nor FunPub has provided us with a Ser-Ket. It's an easy enough redeco, right?

If you wanted to retain the G1 altmode (or something close to it), I can see how it would be doable (if kind of awkward, particularly as the tank would have to move on something like a slot in the track to avoid being able to detach like the original). The rocket should probably be able to be unlocked to become a separate piece for play value, but once locked into the 'launch bay', I can see how the whole thing could transform without needing to partsform. And I wouldn't mind seeing something like an Energon Omega which turned into a chunkier version of the Space Battleship Yamato or Blue Noah or something of that ilk.

Skylynx would be nice. But robots with animal modes don't seem to be high prioity for Hasbro.

Similarly I'd love to see a titan class Trypticon. But I tend to think Metrotitan will come out as Metroplex's nemesis before Trippy sees a release.

Actually, what I always imagined as viable for a non partforming Omega Supreme would be for his alt mode to simply be a giant rocket. It would work since he is often simply that in the G1 animated series. His base would just be an add on like Optimus' trailer in this case (if it were included). The bottom would retain the 3 claws which would transform into his hand, but it would of course be a much bigger rocket. Or they could simulate the fire that releases at take off, like this simple design:
