Are you talking about the Walmart exclusive from a couple years ago or a different TT commemorative release? Also that would be cool.if they made new molds. I thought they might have used the same ones from The original/G2.

Don't forget the G1 Dino Combiner Cassettes (though Legout uses the face of the KO *shrugs*). Parts of molds have been done before, but whole figures is a more recent phenomenon.

Yes, which i was using as a springboard for info regarding G1 combiner reissues.
Bruticus is the only other genuine reissue of a G1 combiner mold excluding the RID2001 reuse; and even that is using the RID tooling.

Stock Images of Beast Wars Reissue Tigatron and Scorponok
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
Some ebay listings have popped up offering these latest Transformers Beast Wars vintage reissues and while they are at quite a markup, the sellers do have access to official stock images from Hasbro.
So below you will see the stock photos for Tigatron, who is in a bright white deco that was never released in the west, and Scorponok who also has a deco change with the plastic used for the body being grey rather than black. For these toys to be available now, it means they are well past the production stage and could be appearing at retail (ie. Walmart) anytime. And yes, these are still exclusive.
And here are the e-bay links for those interested:

Wow we're finally getting a Tigatron that doesn't look like someone peed on him!
Tigatron was also the first BW figure I bought as a kid so this is a must-buy for me. And I have to echo what others are saying that classics Scorpy looks better than his kingdom toy.

Getting both. I don't have Tigatron and I like Scorponok's new colors. Plus my original Scorpy has a leg that likes to fall off at the hip. Let's see if they've fixed the bee's hair trigger.

My 1997 Takara blue-redeco Scorponok had its tail shear right off the body mere minutes after I took him out of the package. The joint connecting the tail to the body was translucent plastic that instantly disintegrated. So, I'll definitely be wanting this solid gray Scorponok.

Re: Walmart G1 Transformers Toys Reissues Thread

Tigatron was indeed my first BW toy purchase. As a 20 year old college student, I was watching the BW show, but thought I was *done* with toys. I saw them all in store, and while some looked cool (Polar Claw and T-Rex Megatron for example), I didn't want to purchase just some random toys.
The original 10 characters on the show, while having interesting and diverse personalities, none of them really captured me like some of the original show characters, until Tigatron came along. His stoicism, and "strong but silent" personality was exactly what I was hoping for, also Tigers are among my top 3 favorite still existing animals of all time, so that was a win/win. I should never have sold my original with the rest of my original collection in 2007, but oh well. I'm not sure if I will get this one. The pure white of the Takara deco doesn't hit that nostalgia feel quite right.
I did manage to get a Tigerhawk from a flea market a about 3 years ago for $20, of course all the projectiles are missing, but the body is fully in tact, my son enjoys it in his collection.

Better hold that thought: the claws are translucent like on the original it looks like and the Cyberbee one broke off on mine.

I picked up reissue Cheetor since I never had the original. It's a pretty good mold for its age and at long last I understand that the blue codpiece all toys have been replicating was actually his back panel, not the part underneath his tail. I wish the cat head secured into the robot chest better though. I have no idea what I'm actually going to do with this since I have the Kingdom figure, I've thought about creating a vintage BW shelf but I would need more shelf space for that.

Did they make Scorponok's missiles even longer? They were already pretty long, but I just noticed that in every picture they're sticking out beyond the claw rather than just inside them.

Hopefully they just aren't pushed in all the way.
[edit] Never mind, just skimmed through PVP's video, they're definitely not pushed in all the way, probably the photographer got tired of shooting himself in the eye every time he moved them.

Exclusive Transformers Beast Wars Tigatron and Scorponok Reissues Found at Taiwanese Retail
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
We have very little info on the two reissues that should be coming out soon. We never had listings for either Tigatron nor Scorponok, and no announcement from Hasbro. But they are now available at big box retail in the east. Both Tigatron and Scorponok were spotted at Toysrus in Taiwan, along with a bunch of other cool toys you just don't see on shelves in the west (not even in canada). These iamges come from Prime Rolelr who posted them here.
This is good news, it means these undocumented reissues are ready for distribution worldwide. No clue when they will show up locally, but it could be sooner rather than later.

62.99 for Black Zarak!? That can't be right?
Also weird, in spite of the reissues, I've noted that OG Tigatron has not depreciated in value on the secondary market. Only noticed it with him so far though.

Ohhh right. I see

I did question how a Selects City Bot could have been reduced by so much, so soon.

Not weird, his reissue hasn't been released in the west yet. Till he is readily available, I wouldn't expect prices to lower.
