I have only one: Vote for Rumble (Mr. Blue

), or else I'll kick your oil can all the way to Cybertron! I have 5 reasons why Rumble should be in the Hall of Fame:

1)Rumble is voiced by Frank Welker, an actor god :ic$:

2)He's been in a lot of the G1 episodes :roll:

3)He's Soundwave's biggest homie :KREMZEEK:

4)Although he has only a few toys, all of them (Including Shadow Warrior) did not disappoint the fans... yet :APPLAUSE:

5)If you don't vote for him, he'll stab you in your sleep :twisted:

Either that, or I'll send the members of the East Cybertron Trading Company to kill you :evil:

. After all, they are assassins! :lol:

So again, vote for Rumble on the Hall of Fame, or Mindmaster's gonna own you face and butt!

As much as I dislike the Constructicons, I have to go with Devastator and here's why: Devastator was the first of an entirely new style of toy. The creation of Devastator heralded a major change in what kids could expect from their toys. In addition to being construction vehicles (which kids like) and robots (which kids like) there was the added bonus of a third, larger, more exciting mold. The success of the Constructicons raised the bar for "gestalt toys" and what they could be. Building blocks were cool...but these were TRANSFORMING building blocks that had personality. They had a face...and it led down the road to so many possibilities. What came afterwards- the Aerielbots, the Combaticons, the Seacons, the Beast Wars combines, Powerlinking, Minicons, Energon Prime, the movie Devastator- would never have happened if not for the creation and success of Devastator as a toy, as a cartoon character, as a comic book character. How different would the face of the Transformers Universe be had there not been gestalts? Would the Headmasters have been created? Targetmasters? Powermasters? It was with him that combining- truly combining, not just sitting inside a larger Transformer- began. From a logical standpoint, no other figure has had more potential influence than Devastator.

From the options my votes went to Grimlock, Dinobot and Devastator. All awesome characters.

Characters that I would have liked to seen would be Armada Starscream, Energon Scorponok, RiD Rail Racer and Vector Prime among others. Just some of my favourite Transformers. Speaking of which I would love an Ultra sized Energon (or G1) Scorponok and Voyager sized Armada Starscream in the Generations line (even if it's deluxe only for now). They were cool figures back then, but they would be great ones now.

this is too painful to do anyway, it's like asking a parent to pick which of their kids they like better - :???:

Somebody had to be left out. There will be years to add more to the HOF, this is for the initial class of five only.

We all know that there are a lot of great choices out there, but be honest, iconical HOF'ers? No one from anything recent in my opinion, really warrants even being considered except, Armada Unicron.

We'd like to thank everyone for voting for their nominees for the fifth inductee into the Transformers Hall of Fame. The ballot has been stopped, the votes have been tallied,, and we've got our results. With no further adieu, Seibertron.com's selections are....

G1 Shockwave with 14% ...

G1 Grimlock with 18%....

and G1 Soundwave with 23%!

For now, all that is left to be done is to wait for other Transformers fan websites. Then we shall wait for Hasbro, who will then take all the fan website choices (including ours) and tally up the robot points. Not entirely, it gets inducted into the Hall of Fame. But from the fact that this is gauging the fan's interest in Transformers, I wouldn't doubt that it would also lead to that. Hopefully it does...

Again, I was hoping for Rumble to be in it, but Soundwave is close enough. Soundwave is awesome though, as not only does he have homies that go inside of him, he also has a toy that can actually play music, and annoyingly, I don't have >.< . Other than that, yeah, woot for Soundwave, yada yada yada. Speaking of which I found the most disturbing picture ever... there is a disturbance in the Force...

I'm not really sure why we're going through the motions of what will be a popularity contest, anyway... and Soundwave has enough of an (entirely undeserved*) fan base to ensure his victory.

The event should, instead, be treated a lot like the Baseball Hall of Fame, IMHO - not an outright popularity contest for anyone who happens to log onto Hasbro.com, but a group of specially selected voters from across the fandom. For example, say, 2-3 representatives from each major fansite, a couple of members of the OTFCC, some Hasbro officials, some notable writers, artists, and/or designers from the comics or TV series.

I also feel, pretty strongly, that an absolute minimum of one non-"Class of '84" character make the cut every single year... non-G1 would be even better..

* Seriously, he did nothing of value other than follow someone else's orders. He never took initiative. He didn't accomplish anything outstanding, or unusual, or even uncommon. He had an army of cool characters at his bidding, but that reflects more on THEM than on HIM. That's like saying the coolest character on the A-Team is the van (which, let's face it, it's a pretty sick van, but that's just about it).

Did nothing? emerald, you're forgetting his badass voice as well as his army of minions which he stores inside of him. His speech patterns and voice made him feel more (I know this will sound ironic) robot, unlike most of the other characters who spoke like humans and whatnot.
