The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

This Mosaic is cool because it makes Magnus look very very awesome.

I can buy that an explosion could have bleached Magnus' paint job but what I can't buy is the fact that the explosion turned his faceplate blue and gave him red optics. It is a nice little look into Magnus' origins though.

There is a little bit of a stretch here I grant you but basically the notion is that his paint has been blistered off by the extreme heat (which Magnus, being Magnus just went into anyway) and revealed his base colours. As for the eyes, they go from yellow to an orangy/red in the way that smoke glass changes the colour of light passing through it, and also because Magnus' eye colour is different to the Diaclone version!

The original G1 Ultra Magnus (his base "Convoy mode" that is)his optics are red while his mouth plate is blue. So in the mosaic, is that like a retcon on how he turned out that way? The original Diaclone "Powered Convoy" base "Convoy" was blue so you're linking the two line? :APPLAUSE:

Reminds me of Hotspot in a way. If Hasbro made Ultra Magnus look like this, I'd have alot of Ultra Magnus in my shelf. :lol:

This was awesome! Great way to use both Magnus color schemes. Almost reminds me of the 86 movie when the Matrix was being handed to Magnus.

Can't wait to see the next Mosaic.

I liked it. Even though I have to remind myself to not nitpick about Prowl's earth look. Highway patrol...must not complain... :-B

I can answer that - this is set AFTER season 2 of the cartoon but before the movie, so Prowl has been to Earth but Magnus hasn't as yet got his armour.
