Well we all no that they trademarked ONE to be used for Transformers but no one has any ideas about the deal is with one.

To me I think it is a Reboot of Generation 1 going to be called Transformers One but it wont be like the 1984 G1 we grew up with it will more than likely be done like the new Thundercats Reboot.

Thundercats got rebooted so why not Generation 1 of Transformers.

I would also love to see movies rebooted

Stay Tuned
Robocop
Masters of the Universe
Mortal Kombat

I can think of others but sometimes a classic is a classic and shouldnt be messed with but sometimes a reboot is needed and could reimagine the original and not make it as corny as the 1984 original was but make it darker edgier like Transformers Prime is.

To me I say One is a reboot of Generation 1.

Coincidentally, this very idea was brought up in a question someone asked at Comic-Con a few days ago and Hasbro's response was that they don't want to reboot G1.

As unlikely as it may be, a reboot of Armada, with good animation and not nearly as many errors?
Fingers crossed

Honestly I can't say I blame hasbro for not wanting a reboot of Transformers G-1. as other toy lines/cartoons/companies failed in their reboots. just look how awful the voltron, thundercats,SW,various super heroes reboots are.

the thing that is horrible with reboots is the painful trips down memory lane. the creativity being limited. the fans outrage is just un-bearable to read on the internet. the stale/un-fresh concepts as they rely too much on the original concepts/approach. the fans will be saying this character never acted like that in the original cartoon.

Since I'm all about the toys & media last in transformers. I'd be up for a rebooted armada. as long as we get beyond super poseable armada reimagined toys.

You gotta be kidding me. Voltron Force is lightyears better than the original series, and Thundercats hasn't even started yet.

The reason Hasbro doesn't want to reboot G1 is not because they think it would be a bad idea, but instead because they simply want to keep moving forward in their developments, rather than stay stuck in the past with their projects.

IMHO,I've seen a bunch of the newer voltron cartoon episodes. the cartoon series is awful because their is literally 2 teams of 5 people fighting for attention/superiority complexes/seat inside each lion.
theirs the original voltron team of 5 humans who are still young being outclassed by another bunch of 5 people weaker/newbies wanna be voltron lions pilots. with all this crying, bickering & clashing of supeiority complexes between the 10 lion pilots, this takes up 85% of the story. their is very little room for the bad guys & voltron verse battles scenes.

FYI,The new Thundercats cartoon aired yesterday friday july 29,2011 on the cartoon network at 8 pm est. I saw the episode last night & wasn't impressed. I didn't like how they made LION-O a younger teenager leader with a shorter lion's hair mane. I don't wanna see a kid-lion lead the good thundercats into battle. I wanna see a man-lion
leader lead the good thundercats into battle.

IMHO,Having a kid-lion as the thundercats leader reminds me of the horrible/awful Newer HE-man cartoon series where prince adam was a teenager instead of a man like the 1980's version.

80's Lion-O was a kid in a aged body because his stasispod had a malfunction. The new Lion-O is mentally older then the original.

I don't know what cartoon you're watching but there's only three recruits and they're just being typical young brash excitable recruits.

Also it's not a reboot, it's more of a continuation.

There are only 3 cadets, not 5.

Still, how is that too many characters to follow? Vehicle voltron had three teams of 5, making a total of 15 characters to follow. And G1 had a HUGE cast of characters to keep track of, yet most of all of us here were able to.

I think you're over-exaggerating since that's not what this show is mostly about. Either that or you saw only the bad episodes. ;)

Don't watch CN much anymore so I wouldn't know that. Great, now I got another series to keep track of.

I watch Voltron Force all the time on Nick it is the original Voltron Squad and they are training these new rookies.

I also think Transformers One could be like Highlander There can be only One or it could be like Neo as in The One maybe that Kind of refrence.

Meaning this is about One certian important transformer who has to step up and be a leader cause he is The One.

Also People you got Episode 21 wrong it isnt called One Bot 2 bots I found the episdodes name and description and its airdate.

But my original assumption about Dreadwing is correct he is going to be in Episode 21.

Here you go

Episode 21 "Divide & Conquer" - Airdate August 6th
Megatron calls upon Dreadwing (Tony Todd) for Help in retrieving Starscream. Who Megatron believes is an Autobot Prisoner. But Starscream has other ideas and seeks assistance from Mech.

Episode 22 "TBA" - Airdate - August 13th

I assume TBA means this episode is yet to be named.

Sorry the Bulkhead Sierra deal is not episode 21.

The "Divide & Conquer" thing was a mistake made by MSN TV. They listed the name of the G1 episode that aired on the Hub the following night after "Predatory". It's not a real episode.

But you can be assured that Dreadwing will be in the next few episodes of Prime regardless.

The thing is what will Dreadwing be like is he an older decipticon or a younger one like Breakdown & Knockout.

What will his Robotic mode look like, what is his Alt mode going to be I assume Dreadwing will be a flyier so that means some sort of Military Aircraft.

I think your probably correct & right. we most likely will see Dreadwing before season one ends. most likely in the next few episosdes like you suggested.

sometimes you've just gotta go with your gutt feeling & think a bit outside the box.

I also love to connect all the pieces presented towards me & form one big huge puzzle.

Anywho back on track...

A reboot of Generation 1? Don't make me laugh. One thing I've always found pivotal in the Transformers franchise's longevity is reinvention, in style, characters and storyline. Hasbro is well aware of that I'm sure. Retelling the same thing over and over is nothing short of laziness and we all know it. Seen it! =;
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

- Jelze Bunnycat =:3

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him :()
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

Reinvention? In Transformers?

HA! Most of the stuff these days is just rehashed G1 or a slight spin on it.

Heaven forbid we get a series where Optimus Prime and Megatron AREN'T in the core group of characters.

HA! Most of the stuff these days is just rehashed G1 or a slight spin on it.

Heaven forbid we get a series where Optimus Prime and Megatron AREN'T in the core group of characters.

At long as we get new toy molds in the voyager or ultra or leader sizes,Count me in.

because the current optimus & megatron toys are getting kinda booring, generic, stale & un-imaginative. honestly theirs only so many new ways to do a optimus that turns into a truck cab. Also I personally don't need a couple dozens worth of optimus & megatron toys.

All things anymore are usually a rework of the original series with a tweak or a retelling of the story in a diffrent way.

GI Joe Rengades, Thundercats, and Prime but Prime could also be classified as a new series cause of the new characters like Airachnid, Dreadwing and Knockout but is also loosely connected to G1 thanks to the Blood of Unicron deal so it is really hard to classify Prime.

I say the name of Episode 21 is still One Bot, 2 Bots but it isnt about Sierra & Bulkhead but were Starscream is seeking help from Mech and Megatron sends Dreadwing to retreive Scream cause he thinks Starscream is an Autobot prisoner and Megatron dosent want Scream with the Autobots cause of his vast knowledge of the Decepticons operations.

This is evidence cause we saw Starscream flying off on his own and saying he is neihter Decipticon or Autobot.

That was truly epic and this is the best Starscream since Armada but he was truly awesome in Animtated but nothing can beat 1986 movie Starscream.

Transformers began in 1984 people the movie was 1986 I remember seeing that in theater when I was a little kid of course those were drive in theaters in those days.

I was 4 years old when Transformers began.
