Coincidentally, this very idea was brought up in a question someone asked at Comic-Con a few days ago and Hasbro's response was that they don't want to reboot G1.Rodimus2006 wrote:To me I think it is a Reboot of Generation 1 going to be called Transformers One but it wont be like the 1984 G1 we grew up with it will more than likely be done like the new Thundercats Reboot.
Thundercats got rebooted so why not Generation 1 of Transformers.

To me I say One is a reboot of Generation 1.

As unlikely as it may be, a reboot of Armada, with good animation and not nearly as many errors?
Fingers crossed

I think the majority of people would be angry if that's what it was haha.
You gotta be kidding me. Voltron Force is lightyears better than the original series, and Thundercats hasn't even started yet.deathy wrote:Honestly I can't say I blame hasbro for not wanting a reboot of Transformers G-1. as other toy lines/cartoons/companies failed in their reboots. just look how awful the voltron, thundercats,SW,various super heroes reboots are.

The reason Hasbro doesn't want to reboot G1 is not because they think it would be a bad idea, but instead because they simply want to keep moving forward in their developments, rather than stay stuck in the past with their projects.

I didn't like how they made LION-O a younger teenager leader with a shorter lion's hair mane. I don't wanna see a kid-lion lead the good thundercats into battle. I wanna see a man-lion
leader lead the good thundercats into battle.

IMHO,I've seen a bunch of the newer voltron cartoon episodes. the cartoon series is awful because their is literally 2 teams of 5 people fighting for attention/superiority complexes/seat inside each lion.
theirs the original voltron team of 5 humans who are still young being outclassed by another bunch of 5 people weaker/newbies wanna be voltron lions pilots. with all this crying, bickering & clashing of supeiority complexes between the 10 lion pilots, this takes up 85% of the story. their is very little room for the bad guys & voltron verse battles scenes.
There are only 3 cadets, not 5.deathy wrote:IMHO,I've seen a bunch of the newer voltron cartoon episodes. the cartoon series is awful because their is literally 2 teams of 5 people fighting for attention/superiority complexes/seat inside each lion.

I think you're over-exaggerating since that's not what this show is mostly about. Either that or you saw only the bad episodes.deathy wrote:with all this crying, bickering & clashing of supeiority complexes between the 10 lion pilots, this takes up 85% of the story. their is very little room for the bad guys & voltron verse battles scenes.
Don't watch CN much anymore so I wouldn't know that. Great, now I got another series to keep track of.deathy wrote:FYI,The new Thundercats cartoon aired yesterday friday july 29,2011 on the cartoon network at 8 pm est.

"Squad"? It's "Force".Rodimus2006 wrote:I watch Voltron Force all the time on Nick it is the original Voltron Squad and they are training these new rookies.
The "Divide & Conquer" thing was a mistake made by MSN TV. They listed the name of the G1 episode that aired on the Hub the following night after "Predatory". It's not a real episode.Rodimus2006 wrote:Also People you got Episode 21 wrong it isnt called One Bot 2 bots I found the episdodes name and description and its airdate.
But my original assumption about Dreadwing is correct he is going to be in Episode 21.
Here you go
Episode 21 "Divide & Conquer" - Airdate August 6th
Megatron calls upon Dreadwing (Tony Todd) for Help in retrieving Starscream. Who Megatron believes is an Autobot Prisoner. But Starscream has other ideas and seeks assistance from Mech.
Episode 22 "TBA" - Airdate - August 13th
I assume TBA means this episode is yet to be named.
Sorry the Bulkhead Sierra deal is not episode 21.

The thing is what will Dreadwing be like is he an older decipticon or a younger one like Breakdown & Knockout.
What will his Robotic mode look like, what is his Alt mode going to be I assume Dreadwing will be a flyier so that means some sort of Military Aircraft.

I think your probably correct & right. we most likely will see Dreadwing before season one ends. most likely in the next few episosdes like you suggested.
sometimes you've just gotta go with your gutt feeling & think a bit outside the box.
I also love to connect all the pieces presented towards me & form one big huge puzzle.

HA! Most of the stuff these days is just rehashed G1 or a slight spin on it.
Heaven forbid we get a series where Optimus Prime and Megatron AREN'T in the core group of characters.
