Badflipblog.com- Ken Christiansen, a game designer with Luxoflux who recently designed characters for use in the Revenge of the Fallen video game, has been gracious enough to contact the ultimate Transformers resource, Seibertron.com, to share some of his incredible work with the Transformers community through his blog at Bad Flip.com.

On his blog, Ken takes us through the design process that he took when creating characters in the game; from thumbnail sketches to designs that get submitted to HASBRO for approval. This information is certainly a benefit to members of our community interested in game design, members interested in simply cool Transformers artwork, and not to mention those interested in the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen video game.

Ken has actually made quite a few entries of his designs for the 'Combaticons', military based Decepticon vehicles in the game, sharing images of Scout Class Combaticon, Warrior Class Combaticon, and a Sniper class Combaticon (personal fav of mine).

Enjoy all the designs and the process that Ken shares at his blog here, and we'll tease you with some of the designs below. These images are also available as unlockables when playing through the actual game, but Ken has also added his own thoughts in his blog that make this a bit more comprehensive of a collection.

Just a couple corrections, but thank you so much Siebertron!!!

I don't work for Luxoflux, I was hired by Activision to continue my contributions to the game franchise, I'm an independent concept design contractor through my company, Bad Flip Productions, and the ROTF game images can be found at badflipblog.blogspot.com, not badflip.com. BUT, at badflip.com I do have images from the first game, if anybody is interested....

Cool. It would be awesome if we could get some of the propaganda artwork that are unlockables in the game. Some of those would make great wallpapers.

Cool. Its nice to be able to see these in better resolution. The ones you unlock in the game you cant see all the detail. Now if we can get some Stunticon stuff that would be great. They were the only ones not given any unlockable concept art.

The green Warrior Class Combaticon reminds me of Animated Bulkhead (as a Decepticon)

I have been looking for some good art work of the "Movie-verse" version of Shockwave since the game came out. Thanks to your
post I see a kitbash of epic proportions on the horizon.

The other TFTM game design art on the page you mentioned is
also pretty schweet.

Lastly the Combaticon artwork you posted about is awesome.
I hope HasTak is considering making these in the near future.

This artwork is fantastic. Any chance an artbook revolving around the game would be in the works. Just in case the Movieart is never published....I have no issues going after the later.

I actually like some of these designs more then a few the movie featured. The second movie that is.

Wow.. I love that Comanche Helicopter Sniper. If Hasbro made that into a figer I'd buy it and probably all the repaints of it.. Awesome looking.

Me too. Uni Onslaught, Ani. Swindle, and Mov. Brawl need a Vortex. And me, well I just love the Comanche's looks. Heck, I'd probably make my own repaints
