This is strange. In Japan the Dual Masters card game (which is partially owned by Hasbro) is getting a Transformers crossover similar to the one Magic the Gathering got. That's not very interesting.
What's interesting is the choice for art for the Arcee card:
Weird, right? Looks like really cool art, though. The rest of the cards are based on more recent figures, though Bumblebee seems to be a cross between MP21 and Alternity of all things.

It shouldn't be. They can't stop making subpar G1 Arcee toys. And the fact that they said at SDCC that they want to make a voyager G1 Arcee to refine her further just shows they are too obsessed with her bad original design, when they need to do something different like this one did

I don't think there's anything wrong with Gerations Arcee, especially the TT Legends version, but that didn't stop me from buying two of the TR version so I'd have a spare.

TR Fortress Maximus is being reissued at the now-standard Titan price of $200. Pulse sold out right away, but BBTS and other retailers are still taking orders. Ships in early 2024.

I was so excited for the five seconds it took me to see the email as I thought perhaps it was Metroplex, only to be slightly disappointed it turned out to be Maximus. lol
Then to see that it was already sold out! Well, it didn't bother mt too much as it is just a reissue at a higher price so no great loss here. I might be compelled to get G1 Metroplex if he was ever released again. Otherwise I'm done with Titan bots.

No evidence whatsoever, but I'm convinced we'll get a new, more faithful G1 Metroplex sometime in the next few years. It's the only G1 titan I don't have, and I've passed on the T30 at reasonable prices multiple times. They need to do him right.

I'd definitely be interested to see if TT reissues the Legends version. I'd definitely be interested if it happened. I already have the Hasbro one. I actually just wanted Fortress from the TT version, but finding one I'm tact with it's electronics seems to be quite the challenge.

I agree as well. Still even at $200, TR is a less expensive option that getting an OG Fort Max, or even the Encore release.
Speaking of which....as someone who owned the original from 1987-2007, is there any distinguishing characteristics between a loose OG and a loose Encore Fort Max? ( never seen an Encore in person).

Also, the legs on Spike were put on backward. I'm not sure how that affects the figure turning into the head of Cerebros.
