Leader Prime is mine!!

God, he's big...

I'm loving that Prime torso shirt, but the G1 design just doesn't go with the movie helmet. So, when I bought my Cullen helmet, I also picked up a full-size, three-dimensional, wearable Prime torso*:

Pretty awesome as these little figures go.

My Thundercracker has a missing Decepticon symbol though on his left wing on the back. :?

I got TFM leader Megatron....pretty spiffy. Didn't know untill recently he had a variation of the classic mace in the movie, & I was even more suprised to find it in the toy as well. Fusion cannon was done a bit better than I was fearing, but that's not saying much as they decided to give the big frikin' sidearm cannon to Ironhide & leave Megs with the same style arm-turns-into-cannon everybody else has.

Anywho....toy's pretty neat. I can see several things like paint applications & articulation that severely hurt the presentation of the figure(particularly in the head on both counts), but other than that, he's pretty spiffy.

Postby Craven Knight » Sat Jun 16, 2007 6:36 pm

So yesterday morning a big ol' box of love turned up at my door from BBTS.

JOY!

It contained the following love:

Hasbro Commemorative Sideswipe & Hoist - My G1 shelf was getting abit one sided so I wanted some Autobot cars, Sideswipe is pretty good, abit plain but better than I expected and Hoist is huge! He dwarfs little bots like Hound and looks rather fat and goofy but I really like him.

Takara TFC Perceptor - This guy blew me away, his microscope **** works! He is awesome and big (as tall as Soundwave).

Classics Optimus Prime & Mirage - Prime's good but I think I like the Ultra Magnus version of this mold better and Mirage is a tiny featherweight and has a head the size of a pea... but he's okay - I got'em both in a 40% off sale so it's all good.

Titanium Sunstorm, Fallen & Jetfire - Sunstorm's paint scheme and bot mode is great, as is Fallen's but I find Jetfire to be abit scrawny and kibbley and his wing backpack is poorly designed as the engines hit his shoulders before the attaching pin can go all the way in to his back(the pin should have been square not round too).

I like both Classics Prime and Magnus. They're really sturdy, and really poseable. As is Mirage. You can get some crazy poses from him, he's loads of fun.

How well does Sunstorm stand up?

His knees are quite far up his legs and there's alot of weight in his shoulders so he can't really do many poses but when just standing he's very sturdy.

Titaniums don't seem to be very posable anyway. I am glad he can at least stand well, which is all I am looking for in this line otheer than neat alt modea. Thanks. :)
