Alright Alright, Its their eyes. TFA is the first in over a decade to re-establish the classic G1 convention of blue eyes for Autobots and red eyes for Decepticons.

I didnt understand your question because you didnt specify that you were talking about the cartoons of each serries and not the toylines.

Your right in the cartoon of G1 and TFA all the good guys have blue eyes and the bad guys have red eyes but the same cant be said about the toylines.

I cant speek for TFA's toys but the Autobots of G1's toyline do not always have blue eyes and the Decepticons of G1's toyline do not always have red eyes.

It was a good question by the way.....I just wish you would have said you were looking for a "cartoon only" answer.

And for some reason when ever "Snarl" was in the scene "Swoop" would be missing......which always made me wonder.

Oh well I did mention "Series" meaning I thought You would figure I meant Cartoon, my bad I almost never really refer to Toys. As much as I love collecting them when I was a kid I dont have time or room for them at the moment in my life right now, But maybe someday soon I would love to collect the toys again. Right now Im all about the Cartoons again and collecting Videos and DVD's and other Rare Footage from all Series and Generations.

Which Gestalt team has two different TFs as the leader based on different sources?

Which two members of that team are the two "leaders"?

And, extra credit, give the source that states/depicts each TF as the leader respectively (i.e. cartoon, comic, tech specs)?

I'll try for the first two. I think it's the Constructicons. Scrapper was appointed by Megatron to be their leader because he's more personable than Hook, but Hook I seem to remember reading in one of the MTMTE books is actually more leadership material, or smarter or more orgnanized or something. I also seem to remember a discrepency in the G1 cartoon where depending on the episode, Scrapper or Hook were clearly calling the shots for the rest of the team. Plus, traditional TF logic would deem Hook the leader seeing as he essentially becomes Devastators' head, and the central piece of the gestalt form generally is the leader.

Correct; although for the extra credit it is that it is Hook as the leader according to tech specs where as the majority of the cartoon shows Scrapper as the leader.

Where are you getting that from?????I think your a bit mixed up or maybe you havent seen the tech specs in a while..

There's nothing on Hooks tech spec that says he's the leader.
Image

None of the construction tech comes right out and says that anyone of them is the leader but there are two factors that point to "Scrapper" being leader according to the tech specs.

One is Devastator's tech had "Scrapper" listed first in the roster of team members.
Image

And if you read the spec stats information it would seem that "Scrapper" is indeed the leader according to the tech spec's.

SCAVENGER has a ranking of 4

BONECRUSHER has a ranking of 4

Even HOOK has a ranking of 4

But SCRAPPER has a ranking of 5
http://www.ntfa.net/ntfa/techspecs/inde ... r=Scrapper

And in all the tech specs of all the combiners the one with the highest rank is the leader.

Having the same or similar sounding voice's is no way to judge wether or not one character became an other.

Both Reflector and Starscream had simular sounding voices and they werent the same character.

And Opiom Pax had a completly different sounding voice from Optimus Prime and we know Opion became Optimus.....and the same can be said about A-3 and Alpha Trion.

And as it is the voice used was not really remenisante of any of the known Decepticons. But his maner of speaking was similar to both Shockwave and Soundwave.

If I'm right, then my question is:
How many times does BW Megatron say "Yes" over the course of the entire series of "Beast Wars"?
