transformers you wished you didnt break as a kid

There is more to Transformers than movies, cartoons, comics and toys. Discuss anything else Transformers here.

All my Beast War Megatron...i used to have each version that broke somehow!

T-Rex: His head is broken
Transmetal: His torso was dismantled when i transformed him in the winter.
Dragon: My little brother decided he would trash him like G1 Prime trashed G1 Meg'!

My condolences...that must have REALLY sucked.

Jazz broke the day I got him and Charlene took him back. Prime's legs snapped off at the hips. I can't remember all the casualties, but I do know that Charlene gave them all away to her then boyfriend's children because she assumed I grew out of them. Bitch.

I've managed to replace most of the once I lost or broke, although the only one that really eats at me is my G2 Bruticus. He was my first combiner and my little brother expertly dismantled when I left for college.

I now have the G1 version and the Wal-Mart urban combat Ruination, but damn, I miss my day-glo Bruticus.

all of them. I dont think any of them survived my childhood intact.
although Omega Supreme and Metroplex probably hurt because $50 was hard to come by at age 11 so they werent really replaceable

On the day I got my first one, back in '96, I was three, and popped his arm off the ball joint and lost it. It was the "gun" claw offa' BW razorclaw. But, soon after I replaced it with Drillbit's drill arm. I also regret throwing him and Manterror away.

But Razorclaw now sits proudly in his own plactic box, still with drillbit's arm.

You know those guys will probably get dug up in some Archaelogical dig in a couple thousand years lol.
Personally id break out the pick axe and get them back now!

As for me...
Hotrod - Pulled a Stuntshow out of the upstairs bedroom window and his entire roof/wing section came off at the spinny joint thingy. Does kinda sit in placebut not very well.
Springer - Lost the bottoms of his feet (the bits that become the rear rotors) and also his Rotors
Metroplex - The joint in his hip gaveway and one whole leg disconnected from the rest of him.

Powermaster Prime - Moved when i was a kid and his entire trailer vanished from the face of the earth. I still have the Actual Prime toy.

metroplex (his leg joint broke meaning his lower leg is prone to falling off now), kickback (his claws broke), and mindwipe (he lost his head). I wish Snarl didn't break a robot leg (a quarter his dino body) either. sadlyi no longer have my snarl.

My G1 Megatron bit the dust when I was 10 or so; I remember clearly I was walking from my mum's car to the health centre. I was transforming him and SNAP! one of his spindly twig legs broke. I've recently rediscovered my love of the toys so I might have to replace him now...

G2 Superion, one of my first transformers. He's in more than five pieces, which really sucks. I still don't know where my G2 Bumblebee went, haven't seen him since I was five or six...

Let's see... I can't remember how most of them broke, but pretty much all were years after I got them, probably mostly through weakened plastic.

G1 Prime, a leg snapped off at the hip. I'm happy with my G2 version, though.
G1 Megatron snapped at the waist (when turning the upper torso). A few years later I got hold of a junker with a broken barrel, and mix/matched the parts.
G1 Mirage, again snapped at the waist. Haven't fixed him yet, so he's currently in half.
Bluestreak, a door snapped off. I think I actually still have the door; with my improved skills I might even be able to fix it.

I think that's about it though, aside from some broken posts (like Overbite and Hawk's guns) and cracked tyres (Grapple's hardly got any left).

Yeah, looking back, I am not impressed with a lot ogf G1 toys. They were not very posable, they broke too easily, and their alt forms were so-so. I would take the newer (1998-2007) figures over the old ones anytime. They can be snapped back together and they are meant to be played with, and the alt forms nowadays rock! And Alternators are the shizz-nizzie. Thank you Hasbro. :D

Sideswipe: my 1st transformer, hood and doors broken off. Glad I got the g1 re-issue. I love it.

Soundwave: beat up on the whole, but works. the battery cover clasps snapped off - please help!!!!

Prime: front fenders cracked (but didn't come off yet) on 2 g1 primes I have. Other than that, great condition. I hate the bumpers - they didn't make them sturdy enough!

Megatron story: I went to Bot-con 2000 and bought a loose G1 megs, no accessories b/c i had them. ($40+) My best friend starts playing with it and decides to do the throw, twirl and catch manuever that everybody does with guns. Only he didn't catch it. Snap! on the ground in pieces. Guy doesn't offer any help, $ or anything to fix it. Wtf? Eventually an amateur jeweler from my work helped me fix it. Phew.

I bought a hound in a 3 dollar bundle with Kup, Grapple, warpath. Hond is horrid. Most of the chrome is gone, tire missing, no guns. Grapple: no hands. Kup and Warpath, minty fresh.

Vector, I'll glady take that sideswipe off your hands.
