transformers you wished you didnt break as a kid

There is more to Transformers than movies, cartoons, comics and toys. Discuss anything else Transformers here.

I think Prime was the first toy I broke. I think.. wow.. 29 years is a long time to remember such things. It was more or less losing his left hand than actually breaking.

Forget when I was a kid, I snapped the ankle joint on my 20th anniversary prime a couple of months back.
[/stupid]

I didn't have any transformers as a kid, parents wouldn't buy me any. I did drop some other kid's Megatron once. Sneaked it back into his bag while he wasn't looking.

Yeah, the ankles on the anniversary Prime are a little dainty. I've nearly broken both of them on mine several times, so don't feel so bad!

Insane! The same thing happened to me...in 85...at Christmas! I couldn't get his arms in the right position—then SNAP!—the fusion cannon arm was broke at that little swivel that thin piece of metal was connected to. Glue didn't help. Thank goodness for reissues! :D

If you got this when you were 8 or 9, you would keep it too. (I hope) Think I got all his weapons loose in a box, why not keep?

I have Grimlock, but he was my first G1...so, I'll take 100 bucks, sentemental value, packaging, figure, and shipping. And you'r local state taxes. Terms and conditions may apply, void in alaska and india.

i don't live in alaska nor india, but i'll pass on that offer, thank you. G1 grimlocks have so much sentimental value to collectors i don't wanna take that one away. i'd rather rip 'em off scalpers who don't care jack about what G1 formers are about. :P

another TF i wish i didn't break or lose was G1 slingshot, the white one not the recolor. his arms were just killer, wouldn't stay flush at the sides and his cockpit & tail assembly wouldn't stay fitted together at his back during robot mode. was my first jetformer though.

and another G1 autobot, can anyone help me identify him? he transformed into a cybertronian race car/dune buggy hybrid, had an orange spoiler, was colored orange and yellow. i didn't actually know his name 'cause he was just given to me loose back then. then i lost him a few years back. any ideas who he was?

I dropped two generation 1 Dinobots off the top of a block of flats when I was about 10 years old to see what would happen. Guess what happened...

They were Snarl and Sludge

I'm glad I took it easy on grimlock, he is complete, loose in a few joints, but intact. I think his stickers are still good too.
What's funny is how small Powerglide was as a toy. On the cartoon he was huge! I think i have him but his joints are a little loose.

ahhh, no, sorry. he didn't look like that at all. i looked all over seib's galleries and i couldn't find him there. though, the closest that he ever looked like in his alt mode was sandstorm:

i really dunno if he was G1 0r G2, or what faction did he belong to. he eerily looks like sandstorm's car alt mode, including the colors, except that his legs were orange i think and he had a spoiler with small wings colored orange. anyone help on this lost TF? even a name?
