Got that a while back, is a very cool figure.
Only cost me a tenner including postage as the eBay n00b selling it knew not the value of what he possessed, and i wasn't going to tell him!

Is Doubledealer the only other G1 double-agent type charecter other than Punch/Counterpunch?

I think so. You could probably consider Octane in the TV series as being a double-agent to a degree.

I'm happy - I've got me a TFC-06 Megatron, stickers unapplied for £35. I love it when people don't know the value of their figures :D

Doubledealer's high on my list, too. He could do with a re-release; it's time for another Powermaster reissue.

As a child, I always used Hubcap as a double-agent. Fondly I recall how Sizzle discovered Hubcap was working for Galvatron and let the Autobots know. Alas, it turned out Hubcap was actually in cahoots with Scorponok, plotting Scorpy's takeover of the Decepticon empire.

Memories.

Ahh memories indeed!

Would Scourge and Cyclonus be considered double agents too?

Completely off topic - anyone else had problems trying to visit http://www.thetf.net? I can't seem to get in and wanted to PM someone about some of their trades :sad:

I've seen that thread too - looks like there's a few people caught up waiting for their figures. :???:

Glad it's not just me though. I wouldn't be surprised if I crashed the site though!

Potentially they can, yes. You could also add Omega Supreme and (I think) the Deluxe Insecticons and Roadbuster

Were Toybox (the maker of Shockwave) and Takatoku(the maker of Roadbuster, Whirl and the Deluxe Insecticons bought by Tomy?

Unfortunately I don't think we will ever see Roadbuster, Whirl, Shockwave, Omega Supreme or the Deluxe Insecticons re-issued.

Doubledealer is indeed an awesome toy.

From those I mentioned above Roadbuster really surprised me, especially how tall he is, I’d definitely recommend him.

I'm not sure, but I thought most of these companies were eventually bought by Tomy. Wasn't Omega Supreme used by Tomy in the early 80s in a different line - IIRC he was grey and black?

haha yea i love it when that happens, thats how i got my G1 prime for £8.

it was incomplete without box but what i got for £8 was:

Optimus Prime - (good condition, no snaps on bumper or smokestacks, some chromewear.)
Trailer - (good condition with back door intact and functional, no ejector mechanism for roller though)
Both fists - (always missing in ebay lots)
Gun
Roller - (complete with all wheels)

i just need to get some missiles, ejector mech, small satellite dish, box and wahey, complete prime :grin:

stamped 1982 by takara, made in france (had autobot stickers so it wasn't a diaclone).

My S-16 jap reissue megs did set me back £70 at auto assembly, stickers unapplied (opened) but i had 2 have megatron.

I like this charity idea.

And yes, this is true.
I still cant beleive that the price on the shop floor in the US+Postage barely costs anymore than IF it were avaialbe here. It means two things;
1: Hasbro UK is a rip off;
2: The importers (including the likes of Xybertoys) are a ripoff too. Xybertoys used to be pretty good too. :(

And its these facts that will stop me becoming a smug bastard when I get my UM c SW goodness.

I know what you mean about the mark-up prices. It's sickening, but we're (literally) a captive market so either we go to the hassle of importing ourselves or bite the bullet and pay extra for someone else to do it.

It's funny, I used to want complete series but now I want to do the random character collecting.

Fellow Brits, a question.

I've just landed a MISB LioConvoy
for £15.00 + £9.00 postage from the US. Comes with a free MIB Shadow Panther as well, apparently, though I don't know who Shadow Panther is. Does anyone think I've paid too much for this figure?
