In a sentence? Don't bother. Surely there are tfs more wortthy of you're hard-earned cash?

If you simply must get them, I expect they'll be out in a matter of weeks now. Just keep your eyes on the shelves at your local.

If he's anything like me, he's probably sick of having to get attacktix cuase there is nothing else transformers related of note to buy right now. I've even gone back to ebay for pretty much the first time since... well the first time this year, thats for sure.

(Won myself the Japanese/Micron Legends versions of Hotshot and Wheeljack and the RiD Dreadwind and Smokejumper.)

'Luckily', I don't often have much money knocking around, so I'm still buying the remaints of Cybertron I'm after. Plus there's a few reissues I have my eyes on. So I guess to each his own really.

I do say this though: see if you can't hold out till the release of the new Titaniums over here. The general release was some time ago, so we may start seeing them in stores in a few weeks. :P

Yeah, I could, nay, should cut down on tf buying. Something Hasbro UK seem to be once again happy to help me with.

I've not bought any new additions either, then again I'm happy enough with my Predaking. Jeez, this figure has finally given me an appreciation of Gestalts. Proper Gestlats that is, none of these two-figures-are-identical-apart-from-colourscheme rubbish.

It's almost made me want to go out and find Pirahnaking!

Still, Brave Exkasier's coming to me next month and hopefully I can track down MP Magnus and I'll be happy. Well, happy until MP Skywarp comes out.

Hi Chaps,

Don't know if anyone's interested but Sainsburys have Energon Omega Supreme for £20. Had n to get one, have been looking at this guy for ages but didn't want to pay £40 for him. Glad I got him, but even more glad I got him cheap(ish). He's huge, but very simple to transform, not sure about the colours either, but still gotta love the pin-headed little guy :)

Cheers,
Doug

I got my Dark Scorponok through the post on Saturday. He's lots of fun, even though his sounds are annoying. The batteries were promptly removed. He also doesn't fit on any of my TF shelves, so he's on the floor, guarding the DVD player with his very life.

I did warn you about the sounds. But yeah, he is lots of fun, and damn imposing as a figure (though not as imposing as Tidalwave, who's just ludicrously massive).

Yes, you did. I was preparing myself as I slowly undid the twist ties, and he still gave me a shock! Plus, he interrupted my girlfriend's viewing of the snooker.

Speaking of movie figs. Does anyone know when we'll be getting the protoforms?

£20 for OS? That's a lot!

I bought mine a few years back from what used to be my local Asda for a fiver!
I think the colours are...suitable. Painted yellow would've been better for the whole of the train section, rather than those garish yellow plastic sections.

Energon/Cybertron Scorponok is a brilliant figure. The batteries drained within a few days, and the silence was bliss. I picked him up with my Energon Landmine like, two years ago?
Energon was a brilliant toy line. Blocky figures, good face sculpts, some intriguing transformations and combinations...
BulkHead and Landmine have gotta be my fave from the line. Though Starsaber does look beautiful in both modes. I just have to buy him first, then I can judge.

On the bright side:Yay! the movie figs are coming out
But seeing as we have to be disgruntled there has to be a bad side.

Bad side: 3 weeks!!! That's almost (counts on fingers and toes) 21 days!

Also did you find out if they were the protoform movie figs or the movie, movie figs?

I've seen Spiderman 3. It was so bad I almost walked out.

Yup probably what I'll do.

Well except I'll probably walk out off TrU with yet more attacktix, or *shudders* some kinda SWTF...

Yes, I am weak.

I need my plastic crack.

It sounds like a good thing that I haven't seen the second or third Spiderman movies.

I'm holding off my plastic crack for now, simply as a lot of figures seem inferior since getting stuck into the masterpiece line. If only I could find MP Magnus for £80 including P&P!

*sigh* Roll on MP Skywarp.

I want something new to hit our shelves! Movie previews would do. I'm tired of seeing the TF bay at TRU packed with Attacktix and an overspill of A.T.O.M.

I know what you mean, I had hoped that the few TRU re-issues would bring about a new era of US overstock. Alas.

Still, I'm a tad bored at the moment. I've collected the Gen 1 re-issues, WSTF, RID and BTs but I'm now at a bit of a loss. Personally I think it's individual figures for me now - it'll save space and avoid cheesy re-issues.

Actually I'd better get a few more Attactix - I owe my mate a re-match!

Can you play with yourself?

Also, is Red Alert (the G1 reissue) worth a purchase? And why does everyone give his cartoon persona a bad press? I hardly even remember him.

He was super Paranoid all the time, kinda reminds me of myself and the fact that i have absolutely NO white transformers out on display due to the fear of yellowing.

I bought the Red alert reissue... but he's tucked safely away MISB in my cupboard.

If one puts white TF's behind other TF's, does that prevent yellowing, or is ultraviolet radiation super-sneaky?

I think that the figure looks great (I had the e-hobby re-issue) although I'd keep it away from sunlight with all that white plastic. From memory Red Alert was a TF equivalent of Scooby Doo - constantly scared.

I need to find some Red Alert-centric episodes!

You two have made me worry about my Prowl and Jazz now. Does it only affect white plastic, or does it change the colour of other coloured plastics? Also, will white-painted diecast be affected? I am chewing through my nails.
