I'm a lot less disgruntled - I have my MP Megatron!!

I popped over to get mine from Timban's place and the figure is amazing!

I'll tell you my view about the figure tomorrow, but trust me he's outstanding.

To be fair, he isnt THAT much smaller... he's like what, a cm or two smaller...

Okay, so I broke my MP Megatron out of his packaging today and I've just finished transforming him.

Quite simply this figure is amazing. Having worked steadily through the instructions over the past 180 minutes he's a work of art. Having this oversized Walther pistol in my hand I can't see any tell-tale robot parts at all!

The only points to watch for those opening their figures are:

1) Yes transforming the figure from Roboot to Alt mode will have a few OMFG this joint isn't going to budge moments. Just see where the joint is and add steady pressure. Typically the first part of the transformation of moving megatron's head and his shouulders.

2) Yes the shoulder kibble will pop off together with the leg/pistol grip panels. It's no biggy though.

3) Try and keep an eye on where the various parts are whilst transforming him as I can see silver paint scratching if you're careless through transformations.

Overall this guy IMHO puts Optimus in the dark. The legs aren't particularly skinny in real life. The overized sight just looks perfect - and the shoulder joints can take the weight of the cannon. Albeit the articulation doesn't match that of Optimus, the figure is far from a single pose. Plus he doesn't fall over anywhere as near as Stascream can.

Other news: Not much around Croydon way for TFs, but I did see that TRU has both the original 22nd Anni Prime and the new release version with the sound base in Cybertron-esq packaging. Ironically this thing is more expensive and IMHO looks far worse.

He may be a lil bit smaller than he should be, yes, but I don't mind terribly. I'm just glad that he at least stand as tall as my Energon Inferno- aka Classics Inferno.

I really need to get meself MP Megatron. He looks so awesome.
Maybe later this year, when the money starts rolling in again...

Still, when i was on the way home from work one morning, i snagged some TPBs. I got New Order, Maximum Force, Dark Star and Last Stand for 2 quid each and Perchance to Dream for 99p

Feeling very disgruntled now, the MP megs my parents were going to get in singapore isn't going to happen - apparently only one place had him and they were price gouging, 30% more than a week ago - not really any cheaper than to get one sent to the UK

I see most people on ebay are rapidly bumping up their price too.

Ah bugger. Either visit Carbombya and check out RavageXK or PM Timban. I think that their prices are relatively good at around £70. Hope that helps?

One of My MP Megatrons I ordered from Toyspark has not arrived. I received email confirmations that they were both sent on the same day.

One of them arrived on Tuesday, but there's been no sign of the other one.

Don't know if it's Customs or the crappy postal system, I guess i'll have to wait a liitle while longer and see if it shows up.

I'm feeling mighty disgruntled.

Hey guys, happy easter and all thats. Dont know if this is news or not, but woolies have cybertron supreme starscream on sale for 24.99. I dont have any cybertron figs, he looks pretty smart though. worth a purchase?

Id say so.
I got him full price (I blame my fustration at how long it took TrU to get 20th prime in) and he's a really cool, if slightly limited, toy.

And shame on you for not having any other cybertron tfs. IMO it is the allround best tf line that has been done.

last week Supreme Starscream was on sale for just over £18.

Some people prefer the smaller one, but I like the big one slightly more. It's just so massive, definitely worth £25 IMO.

Oh the smaller one IS better. Mostly cuase it is the size it was designed to be, Supreme needs to have had a little redesigning, cuase things that look ok when they are voyager size, look silly or downright childish when they are supreme size. BUT, he still is a good (and very cool) toy.

Amp is loud, and he's at the other end of the house, which means *normally* there is someone closer to the door.

Well I can chere you up if you like SW TFs as my local TRU,(Northampton) has just got in Vader Jedi Starfighter and Clone Pilot repaint Arc 170. So hopefully there are more TFs of other lines on the way soon.
