Well, none of his films ever get back any of their budget...

So either he doesn't, or he's been pocketing most of each film's budget. Which, I think, is embezzlement. I dunno, I don't know how these things work in movies.

I read once that he gets the money through german investors who get tax breaks for doing it, and he uses a tax shelter there where if you film in Germany you can get 50% of the money spent back. I think I read it on the page about him on Wikipedia.

Not all of them. Boll said he wanted to make the Metal Gear Solid movie, but Hideo Kojima (The series' director) who happens to know a lot about movies, said there was no way.

Kojima is smart like that.

Those are not the only licenses he has, apparently he has the licenses to 3 more game movies and is trying to get the rights for LOK, this film as he says is be the project he looks foreword to the most!

And thank goodness for that. I've been pretty lucky that the games I play and wanted made into movies avoided the Boll curse. This one (hopefully it comes soon) and Resident Evil.

I don't know... Part of me wants to see him stop making these movies, but it's at odds with the part that wants to go see these movies and laugh at how bad they are, MT3K style.

Honestly I doubt that even if this petion got a 10 million names that it would stop him the only way to stop is not buy tickets to go see his crap and not to buy the DVDs.

But, you forget. There is a whole channel that shows nothing but terrible movies that can be MST3K'd.

Sci-fi Channel

Not to mention, Lifetime's Original Movies are always good for a laugh.

And the best part of these movies are(so long as you have the channel), they're free to watch. You don't have to pay $8 to go and make fun of a terrible movie. You can make fun of them for free.

And to anyone who doesn't believe that Sci-Fi shows terrible movies.

and no amount of BSG or Stargate could save that channel from terrible movies.
