They take money from your check on the promise that adding it to a greater collective, because realisticly off the paycheck you earn, one couldn't afford to pay everyday medical bills and still survive. let a lone extreme bills!
Of course in all fairness if the CEOs of this and many other companies decided to cut their own saleries and expense acounts, we'd all be closer to affording the necesities of living....
But realy, I feel my bosses deserved a $5 million dollar SuperBowl getaway last year, with a $8 million trip to Vegas 3 months later(that one was at least for a confrence). Realy, how can they not deservive it! They spent a whole year giving me **** for not working all 7 days in the week, as apose to only my lazy 6!!!
Well, thats the end of my ranting, I'm gonna wrap this up by saying it suckes that companies set up plans to help it's employees get by and survive in times of crisis only to shaft them with those same good intents!

That and the people who come through the doors every day treat the staff like so much ****, you wonder which side you hate more, your bosses or your customers.
But this story... is just disgusting and totally inhumane. Walmart is a giant sprawling machine that makes colossal amounts of money every day. How could they justify this kind of action? Dropping it doesn't excuse that it was started either. This goes beyond any kind of corporate driven cruelty I've ever experienced.

Counterpunch wrote:I shop at Wal-Mart all the time. Nice place.
For the record, it's one of the few places in America where an uneducated, unskilled worker can make a near living wage, "move up" in the corporate plan, and be provided with a reasonable health care plan.
The ethics of the purchasing, don't even phase me in the slightest.

Holy crap! I didn't even see that post!
Charging for parking?? Is it a company thing or municipality requirement??
*scratches that Wal-Mart off the list...*
